animated avatars can't be resized, so if you're uploading something bigger than your dimension limit it won't work
So I can't have the same username on Newpunch? I thought that once I migrated it would change to my old one?
Alright, my account is successfully migrating. It was a tough choice between google & twitter, but I decided to choose the one for which I don't have a dozen different accounts.
Does your level go up each time the forum picks up old posts?
Is there a Popular tab on the new forum? I'm a lazy piece of shit who'd like content spoon-fed to me based on what topics the collective community decided to get riled up about each day.

You need to make a NewPunch account and be logged into THAT one as well in order to migrate.

File size limit is around 2mb, resolution size is increased via coins, forgot starting size but was probably around 50x50 or something

Coins are basically just like little rewards for browsing, posting, making new threads, etc. Just participating in the forum, essentially.
It's supposed to encourage more activity in the community by rewarding you with coins to purchase small forum upgrades like larger avatar sizes and other perks that will likely be revealed later on.
