I was told a couple months back to pop back in here when the migration started happening to try and get my regular name (just "kobalt") back from some Rust kiddie who took it and just decided to camp on it.

toxxing worthless accounts on dumb shit with stupid/easy/unfunny escape clauses is a waste of everyone's time and shouldn't be fed with attention imo

the intent is to provide posters with a sense of pride and accomplishment

The coin rating not matching the style of all the other ratings really triggers me.

This has been discussed before, Garry isn't really interested in changing them.

One thing I will say about the new design is, even though I was slightly annoyed about it at first, is that it's kind of designed in a way that keeps my old compulsions from Oldpunch from playing out here. I'm easily distracted and oldpunch would often get me locked into a cycle where i'd just keep tabbing through popular threads and my posts over and over. Since the change this morning I already feel myself easing off how much I used to obsessively check ratings and go back to the same threads, the new page feels a lot more chill and doesn't pull my attention in so much (which sounds like a negative but for me it's positive). So that's pretty cool

Do threads still autolock at 5000 posts?

Interesting that old faces are back, for better or for worse. The mobile layout is a bit janky but im sure this was moaned at when it first hit. I think another issue i have is maybe the names need some sort out outline box or something...?

Man this is crazy. I remember when facepunch was literally the sameshit for years. Except in 05 or so it had a yellow-ish tint.

Hey so is there no way to migrate account stats from the old forum? I've had that account since 2010 and even though I only had like 600 posts, I dont wanna loose my prestige

Not meaning this in a mean or malicious way, but you don't think maybe the rating and post obsession is related to a sort of narcissistic related behavioral disorder?

Have some mods been demodded? Or have they just not been set up as mods yet due to the transition?

Also I'm hype to see that there's a facepunch filehost now. I wouldn't say that, more that I just don't have a lot going on in my life and I find personal wins in ratings. I know it's a problem, and I'm trying to work on it and all I'm saying is that the change is helping that

how the fuck do you report posts? some kid just posted animal gore in the furry thread and there's legit no intuitive way to report the post
