theyre taking a break though i was sort of dissapointed we didnt find out what the water things were
Its fine, part of the mystery of the whole show.
Also the space suit Tennant wore, is that the same one from Planet Of The Odd (not sure of episode name)
Epic Mars Explosions!
When the blue flash went of in the house I thought at first that the dalek was in there waiting for her.
Was the symbol on its jumpsuit a timelord symbol?
Don't think so. He got it from an episode with DT Doctor and Rose.

So this is the new doctor?
Yeah, yeah I know I'm late. I haven't been keeping up.
Also I think he should de-regenerate back into Christopher Ecclestone. Tennant is more the classic Tom Baker style Doctor Who character, but Ecclestone's Doctor was a complete badass and he is an awesome actor.
Ecclestone's too busy doing more serious work on films such as G.I. Joe.
So this is the new doctor?
Yea, he looks like a cock.
The Doctor needs to be an adult not a pre-teen kid.
Water + Zombies = Wombies
Henceforth, They are Wombies.
The Doctor called them The Flood.
So this is the new doctor?
Oh god. :suicide:
It was a really good episode up until the last 10-15 minutes, where it became all too predictable. I didn't like how it goes from probably one of the best parts of doctor who ever, being emotional and everything, to completely different. However I support the motion of the doctor becoming crazy with power.
I didn't think he'd go crazy with power. I did think if she survived she'd kill herself though.

Twilight?
There is fire outside of the base?
i thought mars had no oxegen :)
That won't work. I thought 3 of them were dead?
most of them have changed beyond recognition, so they'll probably use look-alikes
Ecclestone's too busy doing more serious work on films such as G.I. Joe.
Yeah well. Also Hugh Laurie might make a good Doctor.
I didn't think he'd go crazy with power. I did think if she survived she'd kill herself though.
Twilight?
I thought she was going to shoot him and hed regenerate.
Can't really judge Matt Smith until we see his performance as The Doctor, it all comes down to his Doctor's personality.
most of them have changed beyond recognition, so they'll probably use look-alikes
Apparently it's [sp]OTHER Time Lords and Matt Smith[/sp] and not the previous iterations.
Its fine, part of the mystery of the whole show.

He got it from The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit, the episode where he encountered "the Devil" bound within an asteroid.
Also, concerning the episode, I was wondering what it was the creatures were summoning from within the glacier...
There is fire outside of the base?

It has a bit, but not much IIRC. Definitely little enough that he would not have been knocked flying from the explosion's shock wave.
Yeah well. Also Hugh Laurie might make a good Doctor.
It's not Daleks
There is fire outside of the base?

I thought the exact same thing, then mentioned it and my mum told me to Stfu :(

Remember when Eccleson regenerated into Tennant? At the start of the very new series of Doctor Who, he was still depressed and angry about the Time War and you could see he was genocidal during "Dalek". But over the first series he met Rose and subsequently rediscovered happiness, which is why he regenerated from a moody doctor into a happy, upbeat Doctor.
Here the opposite is happening; the Tenth Doctor is apparently going down slippery slope. He has committed genocide on a number of occasions (or so he thought), and is now beginning to realise that he has the power to shape the Universe as he pleases. When Adelaide committed suicide however, this brought him crashing down to Earth. This sets the tone for his next regeneration.
/speculation
I don't think I will want to watch it anymore after tennant leaves.
theyre taking a break though i was sort of dissapointed we didnt find out what the water things were
But I thought he was going to be the Doctor for two seasons, and it seems we've only had one? Or....
Today is a good day for the BBC. Can't wait till Top Gear, especially now it's moved past the watermark (it really should have been moved to after 9 ages ago).
I don't think I will want to watch it anymore after tennant leaves.
It's worth seeing if this next guy is any good, I thought the exact same thing as you at the end of the first new series.
But I thought he was going to be the Doctor for two seasons, and it seems we've only had one? Or....
we've had 2 seasons, him w/ rose and martha jones :downs:
I would like it if Doctor who was put after the watershead, so they could be darker with it.
we've had 2 seasons, him w/ rose and martha jones :downs:
I think it's been 3.
The Doctor called them The Flood.
The Flood? Well...
I don't think I will want to watch it anymore after tennant leaves.
I'm going to give Matt Smith a chance first.
