You're killing it at this, keep doing what you do, you were born for this shit! I surely had a laugh and a half at this video.

Crash Bandicoot 2, Klonoa and Tomb Raider 2 are my top 3 games for my ps1.
Still love playing them after all these years (never finished TR2 though, got close once and my save got erased).
Holy shit that got deep quick. Not sure if this is just a generational thing but speaking for my friends and myself Crash was probably the first games that we ever played before we got into "gaming" as well. It's almost like its our generations pacman even though its not mentioned that much these days.
this was very good
Thanks so so so much for the kind words everyone. I'm so happy everyone like it, I really did put my all into this, and you can expect my videos to follow this format. It's actually crazy to see a lot of FP vets here. I'm so excited to do more videos. Thanks also to everyone to subbed and liked it. I just exceeded 100 subscribers. You guys, that is fucking bananas.

No, you're fucking bananas. The amount of energy you had was great!
This is actually a pretty strong start. You first review video are already quite a bit better than a lot of currently well known Youtuber's (which are normally pretty rough) so you have a pretty good chance of this taking off.
Reminds me a lot of Sequelitis, which is a good thing. Loving the branding too.

aaaaa thanks so much! Yeah I'm sorta tired of seeing white text with the same black stroke. The background color and text background color will be changing with each video to complement whatever topic I'm talking about.
Crash 2 was also the first game i played before i got in to gaming and loved it! Never knew how to get all crystals. ( like not breaking any boxes and get the blue one and that there was a "real ending" ) I believe i have to ask my mother if my Ps1 is still in our basement and play it again just so i can get the real ending. Btw great video and you got my sub! :)
Really awesome video, would love to see more!
Oh shit my comments in the vid. Im going down in history as that pessimistic guy :[

Great work, keep it up. Happy to see the follow up to the first vid!
Really well done, especially for your first go around. I loved the overall production quality. It gave me a lot of strong Sequelitis vibes, which is good. Plus I feel like it was written and organized well.
There are things that are lacking though, and are a little hard to pinpoint. I'd suggest if you haven't already taking a thorough look at other shows that do the same kind of thing you're doing and see what good practices they're using that you aren't. Obviously you should never rip someone off, but there's methods to everything and they're good to take under advisement. Some personal suggestions of my own would be to add a little more variety to things. Some visual or audible 'flavor'. Look at things like background music, visual gags, sound effects, breaks in the video (you after all don't want your entire video to be video highlights of what you're talking about followed by b-roll of the game) and things like that. A lot of people like JonTron or Caddicarus use live action bits where they talk directly to the camera. You might not have a great camera, but remember, Jon started like this. In the closest comparable show, Sequelitis, Egoraptor uses drawings to keep the video interesting.
The reason I bring all that up is because for me while the video was enjoyable after a while watching it it did start to drag a little, feel like it was long (being long isn't bad but feeling long is) and lose interest. There just wasn't too much happening aside from a long nonstop talk about Crash Bandicoot that got hard to pay attention to after a while, and the text in some cases dragged on a bit too long. Some shows I'd suggest looking at to compare yours to are Caddicarus, Sequelitis, Brutalmoose, PBG, and Jontron. There are obviously a lot more but those are the ones I feel are most comparable to your stuff, especially the first two. I'd also suggest working a little bit on pulling together an identity for your videos, although I think you're doing great at that so far.
Anyway that's all just my opinion and attempt at some constructive criticism, take it or leave it, you know more what you want to do than I do, obviously. But overall for a first go at this you're doing really, really well. Subscribed. c:
You should totes do some on-camera segments, just little short ones. Don't go full on Nostalgia Critic and start adding in 5 minute long sketches or anything, please for the love of God.
Basically, the way Brutalmoose and Jontron do them. Keep them short and to the point. We are here to see you review games, not perform drama.
I liked your video, if you get a better microphone you'll become as huge as a Jantran!!!

I've heavily been considering it, but with the way my house is set up, and the way the show is, I don't think it'll be happening. At least not anytime soon. I'm very happy with how it's been going just audio-based, and it allows me to have it be very streamlined. I appreciate the suggestions though, I seriously appreciate the engagement.
Complete garbage. Not even worth all 28 minutes I spent watching it twice.
I subbed.
You have an amazing voice, keep making videos
You don't seem to play steam at all, what do you play on?
I wouldn't mind buying you a cheap game for like $10 or less potentially if theres a game you'd really like to review on steam.
Consider it your first donation if you'd like.

That's fair. You are the one that has the final say. Its never to late to change your mind in the future.
I'll probably find ways to better fill the gaps, since this is still sort of experimental but thanks to everyone, this is quickly taking this shape. And I like it. I know I can't shut my fucking mouth about it but seriously, this is insane. I was actually really scared to post it (even though I would've regardless), kinda like sending your kids off to school. But once again the response is more than I could even have thought of.
As for what I play on, right now I'm on PS4 and Wii U. But the games I'm going to be talking about next are mostly from mid-2000s to early 2010s.

I'm currently bumping to those hifi crash tunes holy shit that is amazing
Great video, Crash Bandicoot 2 was the first game i got for PS1 so its still the number one game for me.
I realize I never responded to the Twinsanity comments: I personally think that Twinsanity was the last great Crash game. It managed to do so much with the formula while sticking to Crash. The style, the music, all of it was actually really well executed (it was no PS1 Crash but damn it if it didn't fucking try). I think if they had kept going on that track, then the franchise wouldn't be dead and beaten up.
Twinsanity really did have great music

Actually quite solid video, I'll give you a subscription, stick to this style, I enjoy the passion that you are putting into the videos. I also like the quantity of swearing, small but used with emphasis.
Subbed. I love the Crash games, especially The Wrath of Cortex. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

any chance you played timesplitters?
Its my favorite game of all time.
Liked and subscribed! Really entertaining especially for a new channel.
I really liked this video, but it felt too... Normal Bootsy for me. It just gives me that vibe, but it was still great. Definitely staying subbed to this channel, I hope you cover more games that I also enjoy.
I liked the video a lot, as someone who also grew up with the Crash Bandicoot games (though they weren't as central to my experience of gaming as a child as they obviously were for you) I liked that you emphasized the things about it that it did very well and celebrated them. It felt like you didn't really put a lot of thought into why those things were good though, or if you did, it didn't come out in the video. Some more critical analysis is always welcome, and it can be done in a comedic and entertaining way similar to the one you seem to have down. I know it's hard to look at beloved childhood relics with a critical eye, and it's something I've been trying to get better at myself recently, but if you can prove why the things you love are so great by explaining it concisely, people will respect what you have to say as well as being entertained by it. People will come to your channel expecting not only a laugh but a better understanding of not only the work being reviewed but the medium itself, which is something all reviews should aim for. You seem to have the entertainment side of things sorted, but you should really try to talk more about why the good things are good, than just saying "look how awesome this is" or some variant. I hope this helps.
