you need a pop filter. The video is of excellent quality tho. Crash bcoot 2 and 3 are one of the best ps1 games out there
Keep it up. Great start, far better start than other types of YouTuber's that do similar sort of vids (check JonTron & Cadicarus' early stuff for comparison) I'm subscribed, can't wait for new stuff
Great shit man, fantastic editing great pacing. Keep up the videos!
Also don't fall into the trap of being super emotional over every game, else it won't feel like you mean it.
You mentioned in the pilot episode that you wanted to talk a bit about the whole "generic scary game let plays" that are floating around YouTube by the millions. I wanna hear your take on that.
I wanted to talk about Slender Man, as well as modern horror. I'm afraid to do that because everyone is already talking about horror and Slender Man. So as much as my video wouldn't be part of the whole trend, it's been talked about so much that I might not end up contributing anything new. I kinda wanna wait till that all dies down before I talk about it. The next game is going to be from my internal top 5, and I think I'm really looking forward to it. It seems difficult to do games that have already gotten a lot of attention, but hopefully giving it the same treatment I gave Crash will be enough.
I wish you luck with your future videos. i expect to see more from you!

Otherwise, you'll fall into the raving fanboy stereotype right off the bat.

I guess it'd be cool to critique stuff but that's not really the whole point of what I'm trying to do. I just wanna talk about all the shit that I found fucking cool. It always seems to me that I'm yelling and raving about something in a game that was amazing, but no one else really gave a fuck about. Or just weird little quirks and thoughts that games have given me. I'm gonna do my best to make sure it's not just some standard, monotonous review. I wouldn't even consider this video a "review", because that's not what I'm aiming to do. At the most, I'll acknowledge some flaws in games for the sake of a bit of counterbalance. [editline]10th February 2015[/editline] Like, when people in this thread said "yeah I should pick this up again", I truly felt like I had reached an objective with my video
This was pretty good. I've never played a Crash Bandicoot game, but hell, after watching this, I think I should definitely try them out. You just earned yourself a sub good sir.
Mate i nostalgia'd so hard i remember Crash 2 so much and how good it is! i think the psone is gonna have to come out! Love the enthusiasm in your videos it makes them really entertaining to watch and i like the fact your videos don't have that monotone feel alot of other YTubers have when talking about games. On a side note, the wumpa fruit bazooka was the fucking bomb! just goes to show Naughty Dog really do know how to make a sequel better or as good as the original.

I also hate that monotone shit. Whenever I'm watching shit like that I get the urge to yell at the screen because it's just so hard to watch.
Minor pet peeve of mine. I absolutely hate it when people fill in the black bars from different aspect ratios with blurred content. Still, a good video overall.

cool video dude. crash bandicoot 2 is one of my all time favorites. next to legend of dragoon. i played the shit out of that game
Definitely enjoyed this video man. The length was great too; I sort of want to see an in depth dead space analysis by you now haha.
I wouldn't mind Dead Space :v: there's a few topics I have to make first though. I already have roughly 3 videos lined up.
Holy fucking shit man I'm not even kidding this is probably my most favourite gaming video ever. I laughed my ass off, I went into deep concentration, I fell into nostalgia, I listened to some catchy tunes. This video IS Crash Bandicoot. Subbed hard
Like others have said it tastes a lot like Egoraptor and Sequelitis. A lot. Which is totally fine with me. I love that kind of quirky and quick delivery. And yeah, get a pop filter and you're golden.

I'm so glad to be able to do that for you. Thanks for enjoying it so much.
Like others have said it tastes a lot like Egoraptor and Sequelitis. A lot. This next video is probably gonna be farther off than I thought, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. In terms of audio, that's probably my biggest goal. The next video probably won't have this solution perfectly remedied just yet, but it's a surefire thing for it to be fixed. It's really only a matter of time and funds.
crash bandicoot was one of the first games i played and loved when i was like 5. Also metal gear solid, syphon filter, resident evil 2, alot of really nostalgic games for me are on ps1.
What kind of mic are you using? It's decent, but putting a sock or two over it can be used in place of a pop filter. Use polyurethane if possible because cotton will probably make way more dust than it should and might damage your mic.
2 weeks tops, really. That's the maximum time. It's only because there's something vital that i'm missing that I have to buy.
Oh fuck the flat-lining part I'm in fucking tears And fuck yes, Crash Team Racing You HAVE to do a video on that Subscribed for sure
Just seems like another JonTron clone, but that in of itself is hard to pull off because you need enthusiasm, charm, editing skills, humor in editing, etc. Which you got down pretty well. Keep making more videos and be self-aware of your style along the way and you will start forming your own distinguishable style in essence.

For your first videos you're obscenely amazing in doing this, and I felt very entertained even having never played crash bandicoot (or any platformer in general.) And that's generally why I like to watch stuff like you, jon tron, brutalmoose, etc. I suspect that's probably why a lot of 'gaming entertainers' are. You're very good at this, simply amazing for a first-timer. Wish I had a button that made people popular, I would press it endlessly.

I never thought my work would get compared to greats like that, like ever. I'm really glad you're onboard, I got a really good feeling about the next video. It's looking to somehow be even longer than this one so far. I just hope everyone's ok with that two-week wait :v:
Awesome video! Quirky and funny without being obnoxiously OTT, which is where a lot of people trying this style of delivery fall flat on their face. Subbed ♥ [sp]Bandicoot4lyf[/sp]

Subbed ♥ [sp]Bandicoot4lyf[/sp]
Tell me about it. I'm subbed to a few underdogs myself, and it's pretty painful to watch something like that and know exactly how it should be said, but the person ends up being too shy or too quiet to really nail it. It's insane that I apparently even got it, I've always considered myself not great at comedy.
Subbed. Really well edited, good timing, comedic and otherwise. Spyro is what got me going in gaming. I hope you have some memories of that game *wink wink* *hint hint*.
Amazing video man, seriously please keep them up. Had a blast watching it. One criticism though, mentioning that the game was 17 years old was too harsh. No one needs that strong a reminder that they have been sitting in front of various monitors and playing games for that long. Again, great editing, great voice, great content and great subject!
