I don't like their metalness, but the rest of it is good. Prequel to the Sequel is on Rockband 2, and it starts out good and then goes to shit (then again it's not the full version)
That song is the only song on there that I can't beat on expert drums.
Yeah, if you listen to the Colors album, you have to actually have the whole thing or it just doesn't sound right. Just start at Foam Born Part A, and end at the end of White Walls. Trust me, it'll be the best hour of your life.

Or if you just wanna listen to one song, go for Sun of Nothing or Prequel to the Sequel.
Actually, I'd argue that it starts out good and stays good, if not better.
I hate death metal/core shit. They had cool sounding guitar, then the singer started making screams and the drums just went to RLY fast blasts and then it was horrible
That song is the only song on there that I can't beat on expert drums.
Yeah right where it starts blasting is where I start hating that song.
I just ordered Colors (actually I ordered it last thursday but they haven't sent it yet). Looking forward to hearing it.
Get ready for awesomeness, Colors is a brilliant album. I have so many good memories from the summer I got it ;D
Favorite metal band, next to Protest the Hero
I love the transitions from song to song. Ex: Like Ants Of The Sky to Prequel to The Sequel.

Agreed. Colors as a whole is brilliantly connected and great to listen to as an entire album
I never notice the transition in Sun of Nothing to Ants Of The Sky.
Favorite metal band, next to Protest the Hero
Protest The Hero is awesome.
They don't have whiny vocals so I'm fine with them. Better than most bands that are described as metalcore but not all
Sun of Nothing is probably my favorite song of theirs.
bass line is mediocre, and each song should build up to some sort of musical orgasm, or yeah, it's shit
Viridian/White Walls sorta has the buildup thing.
LISTEN TO THESE IN ORDER
Viridian:

White Walls Part 1:

White Walls Part 2:

The whole album is a buildup.

did someone say Between the Buried and Me?
I have to say this is one my favorite bands :D! I love how on the album colors you can listen straight through and not notice when a song changes. Amazing band.

It's nice to actually listen to a song by the band first before you make fun of them. All of the emo kids at my school hasn't even heard of the band before. They aren't some generic *core band.
did someone say Between the Buried and Me?
the fuck is that supposed to mean.. if what I think, then you're a fucking idiot because this band is beyond legit.

very few scene followers dudor
I dunno guy, a lot of scene kids like Between the Buried and me.
And when protest the hero played at a free music festival in my city, it was almost as packed with smelly scenesters as the warped tour.
Between the Buried and me.
protest the hero
These bands aren't remotely comparable/on the same level.
And all the people I know who listen to between the buried and me are very much un-scene

Who knows, your probably right, I was just basing my thoughts based off what I have seen, I'm sure it doesn't apply everywhere.
I don't classify Between the Buried and Me as a metalcore band at all. To me it's more heavy progressive metal.
hey guys this isn't death metal, this is progressive mall metal/metalcore.
Protest The Hero is awesome.
o ya job for cowboy is awesome to! and and the bullet from my valentine
Not *core gentlemen, but progressive metal, such as Dream Theater.
Yeah, nowhere in my post did it say ANYTHING about them being *core.

BtBaM are absolutely metalcore
I don't get why people take offense to the term metalcore
yes most metalcore is shit, but that doesn't mean your favorite metalcore band is
that being said, the vocals are what turned me off from this band (and I dig some other metalcoreish stuff)
Lol
the guy's growl is shit, the riffs are mediocre, the bass isn't even mediocre because you can't hear it, there's barely any solos, the only solos are fairly easy and contain no sort of emotion it seems.
the drumming... the drumming is fine for a metalcore band, I've seen better.
uh.. what else
in all bullshit, I've heard it all before, they've done nothing for the metalcore scene, and it would be better if they didn't exist in order to preserve death metal's name.
You make me really sad..
