Fuck.
school starts on the 7th aww shit...
Starting school in 8 hours here.
School starts in 7 hours, have two books to read, three chapters in a textbook, two essays, and twelve journal entries to do. :v:
And first exam of the day gone trough. Let's hope it was successful :(
After two days I've decided that having to wear suits to school is the worst thing ever.
First proper week, yay.
It's fun, but oh god is it tiering when I've been waking up at 1pm and going to bed at 3-4am every night for the last 3 months.
I start school in a few hours. I can't sleep...
I'm starting tomorrow, but it's two days of induction, so it'll be like team building exercises and shit. I start my lessons next Monday.
They got these new chairs at school and they are the most uncomfortable things on the planet.

I don't like those chairs.
I prefer these:

Used those for three years and I'm used to them. Your ass gets used to them too for some reason.
Starts on Friday for me, I'm trying to fix my sleeping pattern from wake up at noon and sleep at 3am, to wake up at 7-8 at sleep at 11pm - 1am :v:
The first day was easy shit, wasn't even tired. Second day now and I'm a fucking zombie. When I woke up this morning and tried to hit snooze I pawed at my wall for two minutes before hitting it. :v:
School started yesterday. I feel like shit.
3rd day at college for me, typing this from a mac in the media department.
I feel so crippled.
Just started my first day at college today, stuck with a load of fucking assholes who crack dumb jokes every five minutes.
What a great year this is going to be.
Going back to uni and depression
School started two weeks ago for me, and I fucking love it! I started in a new school that educates truck drivers, and I am so happy with my choice!
It's amazing, and everyone in my class are chill as fuck. Me and two of my buddies pretty much spent the whole english lesson laughing :v: I love my school, and I've never had so much fun!
School started today for me. It was ok, nothing special. Although it was nice to see my friends.
Holy fuck, I'm gonna get to go to Eurogamer Expo with my college in a couple of weeks. I've always wanted to go to a convention. v:v:v
Had my second day of sixth form today, my first day with actual lessons. It is so much fucking better than high school in every way. I was pretty depressed during the latter half of year 11, but now I feel totally awesome with no uniform, no shit lessons, free periods, teachers that treat you like adults, sometimes you get let out of a lesson five minutes early and have some free time, common rooms to chill in, all the uniformed high school pupils think we are the bosses, for the first time in my life I am sitting at home wishing I was at school.
I'm sure some of the novelty will wear off but I have literally been waiting for sixth form since about year 8 and it is just as good as I had hoped. I am trying to work my ass off from the get-go because I've heard there is very little room for fucking around, but the work is so much easier when it's something you actually care about, not bullshit like a foreign language or some essay you are being forced to write. I can't even list all the things I love about sixth form.
Still haven't had my first free period yet because the first day-and-a-half was "team building" shit with our forms (we all went to high school together except about 10 of us, it was a waste of time) but I have two tomorrow. From what I've seen it looks like there are no internet restrictions on the computers in the sixth form block which is really fucking cool, not because I can GO ON FLASH GAMES LOL but just the fact that they are treating us as adults is awesome
So basically if you hate high school, sixth form is probably something to look forward to. I keep having moments where I go "holy shit I am in sixth form. Fuck yes."
Start University on 26th, moving to my new place on Saturday.
Started college on Monday and chose to do maths as one of my subjects. You have to get a half decent grade to actually get into the course (I got an A but I think the limit is a C or above, although with a C you have to prove your abilities). So anyway, after already getting into the course, I now have to do a test that determines whether I can actually stay in the course, even though I already got in. Same with Biology too.
Freedom doesn't mean anything when you have no privacy, obligations are forced upon you, and you're expected to use that freedom in a certain way.
I can see this if you live on dorms, but honestly living on my own in an apartment with a roomate or two and commuting to classes, is pretty much 100% freedom.
My first day was yesterday, going to a full University for the first time. I've already graduated Community College with an associates in Visual Communications (design basically) :)
It was pretty awesome! Lectures are going to be SO EASY! Basically, all I have to do is pay attention in class, or look up into the subject on my own, and make sure to take the pass the 3 exams (which are all multiple choice for all of my classes) and then I'll pass. My class of 200 or so for both of my gen eds are so big the teachers don't even take attendance. This means I can techincally bail on all my classes except for my drawing one and still pass as long as I do good on exams (I'm a good test taker so that's cake).
Not that I will though, because I learn better in an environment where I pay attention to someone teaching a subject vs trying to teach it on my own. And this doesn't apply to my drawing class and my science lab, which are studio and requires me to be there to get classwork done there. I'm just glad I'll pretty much only have homework to do if I don't understand a topic for the week (which is unlikely) and for my drawing class.
Me in class, using my laptop to take the pic (I'm near the front so you don't see all the students behind me)

That's my history professor. He's pretty funny and engaging, plus has the added advantage of hating the textbook monopoly, so we won't need the latest edition of the textbook, which will save an assload.
This room is also awesome because it looks kind of like Tai Yong Medical offices from DX:HR, they are even using the same slanted criss-crossing lighting used frequently in that game.
I can see this if you live on dorms
Bingo
I made a big mistake, but everyone I knew was a big baby and didn't want to go off campus so I had no one to room with.
4th week of class almost over! Don't have class on Fridays (well I do, but it's an hour discussion class on film).
It sucks though because my classes tomorrow are by far my hardest, and I'm scared as fuck because my philosophy professor has been calling people out and laying down the smack on people that haven't done their work. He didn't call on me last class, which certainly means he will tomorrow. Fuuuuuuuuckk.
First day of school passed. I feel like I want to kill myself.
The people in my tutor group for uni are p. chill, actual teaching doesn't start until next week though so that'll probably be when it turns from endless chuckles to a terrible, horrible time.
Now I'm off to a LAN party for people on the course. Half expecting to get there and it'll be Xboxes or something silly.
4 hours later: It was Xboxes in a games development lab, how silly.
Starting high school in about an hour.
I have three days left before I go to school. I don't have any special feelings, besides beign scared as fuck because I can't remember anything about math and geometry
