For those of you heading back to school/college/classes tomorrow/this week, what are your feelings a

I start technical school Sept 7th. Feels good since I haven't had shit to do since I dropped out of high school earlier this year.
Kind of excited to see all of the friends I didn't see during the summer.
Starting first year uni in around 20 days. Daunting prospect, but I'm looking forward to it.
Gonna get laid, gonna get a+ every exam, gonna get a good friend group etc. but i know they never will be.
I'm midway through the third term (of four, if the US is different) here in Australia, and my week has been feeling great so far, even though it's only Monday.
I handed in an assignment on monday last week, and another one also on friday last week, both in time. I have one due next week and two others the week after that, and my progress is great on all of them. I actually feel pretty happy at the moment, and I still have time to do shit with friends.
However, I'm deciding on whether or not to drop a course at school (software development and design) for next year, and also if I should pick up a Vocational Education and Training course (a course taken at an external education institution of which a certificate is awarded after a year or two to display skills in a certain industry). If I'm going to pick up a VET, I'm thinking of whether to do a Business Services course or an Information Technology course.
My classes don't start up until late September, feels good.
I go back on Thursday. The thing is, I don't have my own place so I'll be nomading between friends places for the next few weeks until I find one. :sigh:
I still have about 2 weeks :smug:
I've been out of college for almost 2 years now, shit sucks. Enjoy your school years, seriously. After you get out, there are no more summer breaks. There are no more holidays. Your "holidays" consist of one day off. Like 2 weeks for Christmas break? You can forget about that shit. The day after Christmas it's back to work.
However, I'm doing what I love (network administration), so I couldn't be happier with my life. It just gets a bit repetitive.
That's how you burn out
You sound like the kind of person who deserves a year off school to just focus on saving up some money and not be so on edge all the time, maybe take a trip
My freshman year starts in about 15 minutes.
I am not looking forward to high school.
I feel great. This year is going to be my senior year. Senior year is by far the easiest year in the science course I'm taking so days are going to be composed of TONS less periods (No more staying at school until 5 o'clock!)
So yeah, I'm going to enjoy this year.
I start my first college class in about 40 minutes. It's Elementary French. I am actually a little excited. I get to start of fresh, clean slate. I hope I make friends. Plus, knowing a different language is always cool.
late classes are always chill so it's going to be a chill class
I go back on the 14th of september, I'm looking forward to it anyways. I've got reading festival first.
My ass, is sad. Too bad my elementary school was retarded "She's short. Gonna make her kindergarten instead of first grade."
I could have been a senior ;-;
I start school on January :v:
Feels good man.
I started college classes last week on the 17th. I've been attending the university for over a year now and have been in college for several years (attended a comm. college before I transferred), so everything is just routine by now. I think all of you guys that are just starting college this year will really enjoy the change from high school though. I always enjoy starting a new semester; especially now that I'm concentrating exclusively on my major and don't have to worry about high level math and general ed. classes anymore.
Summer is dragging on FOREVER! I want to go to Dubai for a week to see my dad then get back to college ASAP

is this you on your first day

First day of school over. Everyone in my class knew eachother from last year. Current school is small, far away from everything (20 minutes with bus from nearest city).
I miss my old school. Everything was up to date, much bigger and much closer to home.
;_;
I'm alright with it. Thanks to a healthy combination of work, and fucking around, i'm 25, and with no degree (Though i'm wanting to get into Graphic/Web Design, so a degree isn't too terribly important) but this semester all i have left is a Math credit to graduate, and then my Web Design course i am taking.
So, i'm frustrated to have to do the whole 40 hours of work, mixed with the joys of class and homework, but i am relieved to get it the fuck over with already.
Meh,in my country we have 10 more days :)
Like this: :suicide:
Although I'm not going to college, it still sucks watching your friends moving all at once. Feel kind of left out now, but I just can't afford to go to college.
Move to the Baltics or Scandinavia.
All education is free.
Once you get to college, everything gets better. I am very excited to be heading back for another term.
Completely disagree
Gonna be in my final year of school, and will have to study for a couple of hours every day after school. At the end of the year I'll sit like 7 exams which will determine whether I get into university or not.
So yeah, feeling kinda depressed. ;/
I arrived two days at my college but classes don't start until Thursday so I'm just hanging around, meeting people, exploring the city. I was really lucky and got a bad ass roommate so it's all great so far.
I'm at Virginia Commonwealth University, in case any fellow fp'ers attend.
Meh, I got 2 more weeks
I still have like 2 weeks to go until school, honestly I'm pumped up to start senior year though.
Last year I basically threw out my social life in favor of excessive school and work, this year I'm done with that shit though, I'm going to be the laziest goddamn senior in the entire school.
I would be happy if I'd go back to school :unsmith:
