I am looking forward to college.
I do not like school
Starting my freshman year, all the upper classmen say I have a great schedule, and block schedules look really convienient.

For once, my teachers actually seem to have their shit together. Or at least, they act like it. If they stop updating their webpage the day of the second grading cycle, the way every teacher I've ever had neglected to do theirs, I am going to punch someone.
Fuck, I really wish I wasn't too scared to live on campus and backed out of the housing assignment at the last minute (again), I'd probably be pretty exceeded.
Are single dorms rare in the US? The large universities here offer them.

Freshmen get it in the ass with small dorms, bunk beds, and public bathrooms. Well not all the time but that's usually what they get if they sign up for housing too late or something.

Only difference is the sophomore buildings are relatively new, but still have 99.999% tiny dorms and public bathrooms (pretty gross...). Only juniors and on get apartment-style dorms.
Finished first day of college. Everything went better then expected. Teachers are pretty relaxed, the rooms are air conditioned, they don't care if you muck around on the PC so long as you get your stuff done quickly(my composition class was all PC's, was awesome)
None of my teachers allow laptops in their classes. However, I am taking two honors courses and an accelerated one :P [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline]
At most of the ones I've seen that have them, you have to be a senior to get stuff like that. Oh wow I started school 3 weeks ago :v: Thank god it's my senior year.
Bored, it's not gonna be fun.
I managed to survive carrying too many books through the first day. I figured it would be best if I bought them all at the same time. Besides that, my first day in college was good Tons of cool guys in my engineering class. And by cool guys, I mean that every male was cool. The one girl in it decided to be super introverted and quiet while we joked about drafting chickens in three view.
Ugh, due to the location of the new school I have to get up one hour earlier than last year.
I would hate to have a roommate. I would be scared he would steal my pot and shit.
I would hate to have a roommate. I would be scared he would steal my pot and shit.
None of your friends go to the same college as you?
I like college, its easy as shit and I get heaps of free weed :v:
Taking a gap year :v: I've actually been to my old school twice this week already though (yesterday and today) and held a couple of lectures about a big coursework project that all Swedish students do in their final year. I was nervous as heCK but it went fine
None of my friends are going to go to the college I plan on attending after this year's done. I suppose it's a good thing, I'll meet a shit ton of people. At this particular college, freshmen can decide between traditional dorms or apartment-style rooms (which are in eight buildings on campus). I'm gonna have a hard time deciding on that.
I left my last year of high school to do two years HND Computer Games Design at college then go onto a related degree at university in either the second or 3rd year. I had an interview today and they gave me my place, woohoo!
None of your friends go to the same college as you?
None of my friends go to the same college as me. But I think having your old friends there kinda gets in the way of making new friends.
I have a question for anybody pursuing the same or similar degree as the one I want to pursue. What jobs can I get with an anthropology degree? I decided that I want to major in anthropology because it interests me more and I remember things I learned about anthropology more than history.
Jeez, I have to wait until Sept 1st to register and get my goddamn schedule b/c my school's site showed my schedule as ZNEWSS and not the classes I will be having! Then wait until Sept 7th for it to start....
It felt that summer lasted a long time, but it feels good to be going to do something new, University. I can't wait for my Computer Programming, and Political Science.
I feel more nervous about getting GCSE results (this Thursday).
I think I'd rather fucking kill myself then go back to school.
You're so edgy.
maybe he just goes to a shit school with shit teachers and shit classmates
