1st one looks like a caricature.
dude, do you even know what a caricature is? :v:
1)nope seems to me like this one would drive, on a saltflat. And have people coming all over the world to see it.
2)Nope, it's the effect of the perspective that makes it look so low. You just don't know it yet cause you fluked the house ones.
3)Nope,
it's just the angle and perspective, and those wheels are not really THAT big.
also mr.sofa, if you haven't noticed, your car has EVEN BIGGER wheels and is EVEN LOWER than the pics you just judged!
I know how much irony hurts, don't go that way op.
Instead of trying to argue why don't you go and draw some more?
oh god it's so ankward to scroll up from all those beautiful concepts up to op's post.
OP please stop posting you're embarassing yourself
...ok :P
Ill make a new one you will see.
just tell me what pencils are u guys using, becouse There are diffrent typse and I dont know what to get
1st one looks like a caricature.

around 50% improvement. draw the cars in blockier shapes before smoothing out to aid perspective and pull perspective lines between two symmetric points to get better proportions.
Two symmetric poitns like the corners of headlights or something.
Id do a redline but my tablet is in another room and I'm immobile from being too obese.

Here. This is how you got it wrong.
The orange thing is where it should have been judging by the left light and windshield.

tnx :)
Anyway I tried to kind of show you in layers how the perspective lines would go and then a sketch and then lineart and marker.
It's not perfect either but it's a bit fixed and you can see kinda where you went wrong the most:
You can download the psd here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1275475/Car.psd
DOG-GY Probably I do Yes. (I can ask a mod to bad you too)
2. Keep criticism constructive.
*"This is bad" is criticism but it does not help the creator improve, so you will be banned for this.
oh no!
learn to take CRITIQUE. why did you even post here? to only get praise? that isn't how it works.
You need to be able to be critical about your own work, see your own mistakes and so far I don't think you are able to, so other people are pointing it out!
remember this is not a personal attack on YOU as a person, but a critical evaluation of your artwork. we can see the mistakes more clearly than you do.
So listen what people have to say and stop deflecting
Aside from the fact that's exactly all a lot of you guys do in this section, especially you-- Criticize, which is of course all fine and dandy. However almost none of it is constructive, you just bash the hell out of whoever posts as if you have an immensely large superiority complex.
Simply telling them how bad it is doesn't help them improve. You need to give pointers as to WHAT to improve. Is it really that hard to understand why a lot of the people you guys 'help' end up "deflecting" your criticism?
"Learn how cars look" - Yeah, real helpful. You'd be just as good saying "Learn how to draw".
EDIT:
And sorry to the OP for going totally offtopic. I just wanted to post this since I see people's art constantly getting bashed/laughed at on here.
critique comes in all forms, I'm not gonna feed it into him how to learn step by step.
I believe that people are not stupid,I like giving guidelines on how they can improve so they can learn for themselves.
if people are saying "this is not very good" the artist should sit down and think, what's not good? what can I improve on, and with that they getting better to see their own mistakes.
harsh critique can be hard to swallow, but as I said it's not a personal attack.
"learn how cars looks" is correct, but way too vague
Tnx Nyaa for taking the time and fixing the car :)
Im gonna go see some tutorials and see what I can do.
"learn how cars looks" is correct, but way too vague
yeah
"learn how cars look by drawing them from reference pictures" would be mucho bettero
we're dealing with a complete newcomer here.
Yeah...I allways want to make something new and then shit comes out :P
Atleast the come somewhat right out in 3d sketchup.
if you want to do something in 3d and don't have a means to get a student license for autodesk software the use blender
don't use sketchup

Not that I don't appreciate that you point out when something sucks.
But anyone can do that, it really doesn't help if you're always being vague.
Very cool drawings. I have to agree with some people on here though, they are a little "roundish." but if that's what you want in your style go for it! Drawings don't have to be realistic. I wish I could offer more advice but I'm not fantastic at drawing.
these are nothing special.
these are nothing special.
Thanks for the input!
Doesn't look too bad.
You should try and look into how cars are formed to be aerodynamic. It's pretty interesting to study and you can come up with some designs far cooler than your currents sketches.
