Well according to this, the first two arcs of the show will actually be retellings of the two latest DBZ movies, "Battle of Gods" and "Resurrection F", while the next arc after that will be entirely new.

I wish there were more common life on earth episodes.
Season 7 was by far the best season since it was a good mix of comedy and some action.
as much as I liked the majin buu stuff I'd probably still rather see the worlds martial arts tournament completed.

While I do also really the Buu arc of Dragon Ball Z, to me, I'll still prefer the Red Ribbon Army arc of the original Dragon Ball, as that arc to me contains the perfect mixture of adventure/comedy that early DB is known for, and action that later DB/DBZ is known for as well.
i think making a film a major part of the canon is really poor storytelling, specifically if it takes place in the middle of the series. it segments the franchise and makes it harder to follow
re-telling them within the show is the best choice to make sure that members of the audience aren't left out of the loop

In Japan, they tend to keep the same actor/actress, even if the character is older.

I want to hope something's done with the non-saiyan characters somehow to keep them fighting. It'll inevitably all come down to Goku and Vegeta in the end of course, but Super's the perfect chance to give everyone some relevance again, [I]especially[/I] Piccolo.
Wonder if Akira might give more screen time to Piccolo, Tien, and Krillin considering they had a good amount in Resurrection of F

I mean, one reason why DBZ is so fucking cool is because generally they'll give everyone a moment. Tien just fucking ran off and fought Cell for a little while right after he turned into his second form, and despite the fact that he should have gotten his ass kicked he still beat on him for a bit.

My friend told me that RoF was really bad, he feels its better as a tv show arc then a actual movie. So I'm looking forward to the Super arc of RoF
