Put moving things in aquarium for turtle to ravage.
Imagine when you're in its natural territory, and that thing gets to your legs. Nice scars.
I'm pretty sure I just watched a snapping turtle eat the shit out of like 20 mice.
People should stop saying this is nature, it is not nature when you throw 40 mice in a closed area with that thing and no way to escape. It's nature when a man gets hunted down by a lion in the Savannah, not when he is eaten by a lion in a lion cage at a zoo.

Who cares.
Let's just feed the turtle stuff it isn't supposed to eat, that makes more sense.
Damn nature, you scary!
The turtle likes to use the same method of killing everytime: catch in mouth then rip to shreds with claw.
This is HARDCORE
Snapping turtles have been known to eat small rodents. Most of them will not eat dead animals.
lots of :gibs:
This is absolutely NOTHING like feeding snakes. I have 2, so i should know. Snakes suffocate their prey and swallow them whole, the turtle snaps their bodies in half while they are still alive.
I'm pretty sure passing out and dying in your sleep is better than living for a while with your spine and guts dangling around behind you.
After the first wave of pain they get into shock and can't feel anything. Being crushed alive is just as bad.
Flagged, some things dont belong on youtube
That thing owns, but I nearly cried when I saw the half rat still swimming.
Flagged, some things dont belong on youtube
Don't be such a stick in the mud :colbert:
i love how he plays with the rats and does shots of them looking cute and eating before he throws them to his murder machine. soon as you see the turtle you can tell that fucker is evil
Being torn apart alive, that was horrible. I mean can't you feed them with their natural prey? Some nice fisheys?
This is fucking horrible! Why doesn't the owner of the turtle kill the mice first!? Fucking animal cruelty man...
Yeah, but when it happens in nature, it's not.
Fucking stupid man...

Just to be a jerk..
"Some snappers will also eat baby mice or a young small mouse, fully with its fur (sold usually frozen as food for snakes and lizards mainly). A very good alternative, but some snappers will not like it (most of mine spet it out when I tried to make them eat it so I gave up on this type of food). "
Seen this before, but still pretty intense. But the centipede eating a mouse? That's new.
That was fucked up.
Fuckin' Turtles, man.
This is just like feeding mice to snakes. Nothing new.
Snakes would sometimes just bite it and it would be dead within seconds, these mice sit there for a long time with their limbs falling off and part of their body being torn apart.
I don't see how it's not weird to record this. You must have some problems if you consider it interesting, but it's not nearly as bad as the cat guy from Australia who would record his trapped cats and use youtube as his demented trophy shelf.
He should feed it crayfish if he wants to wean it onto natural food sources for release. A snapping turtle is more likely to come across crayfish than mice and crayfish hardly feel pain. Surely not as much as a mouse does. I'm a crayfish breeder myself. All he needs is a 20 gallon tank and one Mamorkreb. Cheap, self sustainable, natural, and not a bloody fucking sadistic mess.

It's not evil it's just hungry. I'm sorry nature can't all be cute and cuddly.
Snapping turtles are badass.
:wtc:
It's illegal to feed live animals to pets I thought, I did study animal management for 3 years, so hopefully they didn't teach me wrong.
Still a sick video when the mouse was trying to swim up that got his bottom half bitten of was horrible to watch this is sick, in the wild no it's not sick it's survival and feeding so no it isn't sick in the wild, but atleast prey has a chance but in this video he's chucking domestic mice in to a pool of water with a snapping turtle, it's just sick because he did it for entertainment and they don't need to eat live animals if their kept as pets or in conservation places, so it's just wrong. I don't think it's sick in the wild though because it's the way of life in the wild.
1:32. The turtle straight fucking skinned the mouse.

Actually, prey can survive for up to an hour inside it. Also a snakes venom and teeth can be very painful.
none mercy
That was fucking badass.
Snapping turtle always wins.
I always thought turtles looked cool and badass, now I know they are fucking bloodthirsty psychos. Seriously the way it went apeshit to attack the rats outside the tank.
Also feeding it rats is normal, the way this guy films it though is somewhat creepy.

Not really, you could just be interested in it, as it's just natural predatory instinct for the turtle. Of course the guy that filmed it (and the way he filmed it) makes it seem like he is enjoying it a bit too much, where it's past the point of just interest.
it's not considered animal cruelty if he is just feeding his turtle it's natural diet.
but i'll admit, it is a bit weird how this guy records like 50 of the feedings with added dramatic music. you can tell me this guy is A FUCKING PHYSCOPATH!
