I was reluctant at first because I thought it'd be some shitty movie tie-in that existed only to consume 6 dollars from me.
Then I saw it was free.
:fappery:
everyone email them and beg for an android port
I still need to see some sort of example of this!
while traveling or when the sun shines
But my ipod lives in my pocket, wandering around with it with this app on would be silly. All teh sound is being jumpy which is strange as it only seems to breka up when I'm at uni but at home it's perfectly fine.
I need an app that does this

God damnit ipod
Apparently i need an iphone, not an ipod
So... does this work with ipods then? I am so ignorant of my own product... does it even have a microphone? This app takes like 5 minutes to work out "it's quiet"... but during that 5 minutes I mashed my piano keys next to the machine.
And then it gets to "inducing quiet dream" and does nothing.
Downloading this now.

Avatar fits so well.
Can anyone tell me what song was playing in the background?
how can I get this working if my iPod does not have an microphone?
how can I get this working if my iPod does not have an microphone?
by using a headset
are you that thick?

No you can use an iPod Touch 3G as long as you use a headset with a microphone. The ones that have one 3.5mm jack, not the ones with 2 jacks. This app works the best with a mic, and using it without one defeats its whole purpose.

You need to use the headphones that came with your 3G touch. They have a microphone built in.
Can i use my iPod with built in Microphone and a Microphone-less headphones?
Can i use my iPod with built in Microphone and a Microphone-less headphones?
Yes, that's what I'm doing.
Thing that sucks is that it's literally impossible for me to get the GPS-related dreams because I would need a wi-fi connection every step of the way.

Alright, where on the iPod is a "Microphone Jack"? Please explain that one.

The only GPS related dreams are the Africa one, and the one that you need speed to achieve, but maybe that uses the built in accelerometer to determine. I will try it in my car today.
Also the Sleep Dream is really soothing.

my mic works somehow, but it just stays at "Constructing the Dream." Any help?

You need the latest iOS update, 3G/4G Touch or iPhone, and a large amount of free space. The free space is needed, because as the "dreamworld" is created the sound is decompressed. So this app takes free space to run.
On some iPods with all the requirements met it doesn't run at all for some reason. Just the way technology works sometimes.
Also try restarting your iPod fully.
Oh come on, no love for the android. :saddowns:

Read the above posts, or reread the thread. OR download it for free and try it for yourself.
Or continue reading this post, and I will answer the question:
Yes you can.
Yes. I put on my headphones and it uses my mic in my 4th generation touch. You don't need a headset with a mic.
It works better with a headset with a mic though
Android version is needed.
Dang my 2G iTouch is not adequate...
Where'd you read this?

Doesn't matter anyway, the music sounds crappy with the little iPod microphone.
The app performs inception on you while you sleep to make you go out and buy the movie.
