It'll definitely grow in size. About 3-4 years ago we bought one of those young plum tree saplings. It was around 1.5 meters tall and about as thick as a thumb. Here it is now. It has about 40 fruits on it already. It's more or less growing on its own, I fertilize the soil around it about once a month.

Both of my other green boys are growing nicely now that it's summer. I think I'm going to give up on their dead friend, the ground is picking up moisture and no new leaves are growing and the old ones aren't falling off either.

Is the first plant some kind of citrus?
No idea most store just sell them as "kyoto bonsai" you can have 2 completely different bonsai and they're both labeled as "kyoto"
I have an issue with my avocado tree. Can't get mushrooms to quit growing around them and now they're beginning to grow around the roots.
It's indoor, would moving it outside help any?
https://i.imgur.com/YNYXVgB.jpg
It's your soil. Moving it won't change much. Spray with a fungicide.
Also, they don't really leech much from the soil so unless you're concerned with poisoning, then I wouldn't be too concerned.
fungicide treats the symptom and not the cause.
What would the cause be?
I haven't had mushrooms growing in my pots, but I'd probably go for a soil change. At least the uppermost layer, say an inch or two. That should remove most of the spores. But you're probably never going to get rid of all the spores.
My wife cleaned them up before I was able to see them, but she said that they were "growing around the roots". I'm not entirely sure if she meant they were growing out of the roots or just that she had trouble getting the shrooms out because of tangling with them.
I'll do a soil change this weekend, hope it helps. The tree probably ought to be moved outside anyway because of how big its getting, but the last time we put one out a squirrel absolutely decimated it. I'll probably have to put up some kind of cage around it to keep the tree rodents out.
Excess moisture and humidity. You can also battle with the spores by scraping the top layer off as swebonny said. They will come back later though if you dont change the conditions. Fungicide sometimes wont fix the issue anyway.
Imo reduce the spores by taking off top layer then changing conditions to somewhere with more air flow.
Carolina Reapers are finally coming in:

Update, I think one of my Reapers has got a bit much N from the fertilizer (compare to one month ago)
Flowering is a bit slow still, and the tomato plant shows signs of magnesium deficiency (older leaves turn yellow) so for good measure I gave a conservative amount to all plants since they are using the same soil. Still amazed how much they can grow in a single month.

switched to flowering, i hope i get atleast 2oz from this since its pretty big. been thinking about getting a cob led but theres a lot of mixed info out there, on grow forums theres a lot of hate for panel leds but one good test i saw shows the different light balances are within 5% of each other

Came home yesterday after being abroad for almost 3 weeks. I was super excited to see how the plants fared during the hottest period of the year.

My scotch brain chili plant got huge. The lowest part of the stem has a woody textile now.

Basil grew really tall and I think I need to use it before it dies. The lower left is a oregano that has flowered.

My lemon bush has tiny lemons now, not sure if they'll be able to mature before it gets too cold.

Strawberries showing up. It's going to be pretty when they grow larger and hang outside the pot.

Yellow cherry tomatoes went nuts, I didn't have proper supporting structures for it to grow on, so it's all over the place.

The physalis is producing fruits as well. But I've only found 3 fruits.
Never heard of these before, are they a local fruit?
It's from the Americas, probably southern parts. We have them in the stores from time to time. It has a really good taste, hard to describe, but it's really good.
I believe this is the exact species I'm growing:

Cut the basil right above a pair of leaves, it will not bloom and thus not die
A break from the heatwave here in Belgium really seems to have helped fruit growth, before that it was way too hot at night. First reapers showing up as well!

Counted about 14 reapers already
The super F1 is living up to its name:

The next question is of course, what do you do with all those peppers? I decided I'd try a fermented hot sauce. But because I don't want to screw up 5 months of growing in one go, I'm trying it first with store-bought peppers (just threw in anything I could find, won't be that spicy I think).

Underestimated what 6 gallons is when I ordered the vat Saw some CO2 bubbles this morning though, so I'm excited.
Here's my peppers:

The temperature is already dropping below 20 on some days. I hope the greenhouse will sustain them for a few more weeks before I move them indoors.
Paint a milk jug or soda bottle completely black, fill it with water, and put it inside. During the day it'll heat up and at night, it will release the stored thermal energy.
It won't keep your greenhouse toasty, but it'll be a good supplement heat in the early days of fall to push it another week or two.
should i add PK boost to my usual feed mixture or just water? the instructions on the bottle arnt very clear
First reaper to show a hint of darkening!

Target color:

I have noticed that as soon as the color change from green starts, it goes a lot faster.
My Aji Dulce was first, I guess it's true that the hotness affects the ripening time:

Chinese 5 colors also doing great:

My previous ferment failed completely because all sorts of beginner mistakes (vegetables not completely submerged, too much oxygen, ... ) so I had to flush it in the toilet
Started a new one with store-bought habanero's in a smaller vessel, seems to bubble a lot more !
https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/150278/da0b4f2f-617e-470c-a796-5353bc23df56/image.png
Finally, I noticed one Habanero Super F1 with spots on the leaves. Apparently this is due to soil ending up on the leaves while watering. This causes a bacterial infection. So I'll have to destroy that plant once it's been harvested. I have 2 other Super F1's so it's not that big of a deal. So amateur tip: keep your leaves clean and avoid letting them touch the soil directly.
Just saw this, what week of flowering are you at mate?
9th week
Woah, unless you're running some crazy 12 weeker you're pretty pretty much done, PK's usually done for a few feeds at the start of week 5 for an average 10 week job. You're probably looking at weaning down the nutes in general/looking at flushing depending on your media about now.
Had to think of this:
