wow i thought it would have multiplayer since its going for that arena style shooter. its also a game that would have worked better as a story game, keeping the roguelike game mode as an extra mode. that way they could have shoved in a cheesy 90s story mode into it.
one way to flush out a fps is to have multiplayer, dark souls did it for their bosses, you can sub an enemy for a tester then record that they do. Then you can copy the tactics used that look interesting and code that into AI.
