A, He should be in jail
I've been thinking about it, and now I have the idea that he might possibly try to kill me again if I turn him in. I'm already well aware that he is most definitely not willing to cooperate with the authorities. When they raided his house to try to arrest him, they rolled in deep on him. Multiple squad cars, and probably some dogs. He escaped capture by jumping out of a second story window and hiding in the woods, in a creek, for four hours in nothing but pajama pants. In this incredibly cold weather, I consider a feat like that to be almost super-human. Also, considering the things he has done in the past, which are of a much grander scale than even that, I'm convinced that he probably is super-human. He's never lost a fight as far as I'm aware, and I don't think he ever will. He could probably kill anyone he meets with his bare hands. In addition to his physical prowess, he is also incredibly intelligent. He also happens to be a sociopath. Given that he has already attempted murder against me once for no reason at all, there is a chance that he would do it again in retaliation for my snitching, and most likely succeed this time. I'm not completely convinced that this is the case, but the possibility can't be ignored.
I presume you are older than 18. Buy a pistol. Even if he is your brother, you can always shoot someone to disable him (leg, arm, joints). But you should turn him in. If he stays, he is a danger not only to you, but to everyone else.
A because he is using you and your newphew shouldnt be in the responsibility of a criminal who has mental issues. Tell the authorities it was your brother - its the truth and he needs to stop being a coward and face punishment for the things he did.
Identity fraud is a very serious offence.
its a felony.
Pick A, from the sounds of it he's shat on you too many times.
Get him sent to prison, better him than you if you lie to them.

Pick A, man.
Even though it's your brother. You should pick A. He deserves it.
The asshole tried to kill you and treated you as shit for your whole life. A.
Save his skin but make it clear to him that you've done him a massive favour and that if he continues his shit you'll turn him in. If not for your brother, do it for his kid.
Man.. go with A) he sounds like criminal scum. I can understand your worry about him coming after you once his sentence is done or something, that's understandable, but I suggest going over it with the police. Or telling the cops to keep you anonymous and lie to your brother if he asks if you did it. Should work out fine. Sound's like a really shitty brother to me, I don't even know how you're so tolerant of him. Then again I never thought about what would happen to his kid.. but he's also probably a lot better off with the dad he currently has.
A He doesn't deserver your respect.
A. Or C. He sounds like an incredible bastard. Fuck him.
A all the way.
I facepalmed at C). You don't want anything bad happening to your nephew? KEEP HIM AWAY FROM YOUR BROTHER.
What did he do to deserve such attention from the authorities?
I facepalmed at C). You don't want anything bad happening to your nephew? KEEP HIM AWAY FROM YOUR BROTHER.
All things considered, he actually is a good father. He's not a good person, but he's done a good job with my nephew so far.
What did he do to deserve such attention from the authorities?
Too many things to list. I don't really know the entire situation, there could be more than I'm aware of.
Some people just dont deserve another chance. A. stand up for yourself.
C) Lie to the police, get busted, go to jail together and go for it when he bends over for the soap
I facepalmed at C). You don't want anything bad happening to your nephew? KEEP HIM AWAY FROM YOUR BROTHER.
Even if he's not a good father it will still hurt the child to be taken from his only parent (I assume his mother is out of the picture)
All things considered, he actually is a good father. He's not a good person, but he's done a good job with my nephew so far.
How old is he? Where's the mother?
Some people just dont deserve another chance. A. stand up for yourself.
Most people do.
Choose A. It's the best way.
A. Maybe the larger asshole he gets in jail will make him relise that he doesn't want to be in jail anymore. Or if he gets out he will kill you. Either way you have some consequences that are his fault.
Most people do.
most. I read the OP and it seems to me he has aleady been given loads of second chances. He'll go to jail and come out a new man that acually thinks about his actions. IMHO
How old is he? Where's the mother?
He's like 23 or something. I'm not quite sure. The mother is in Greensboro. She's not too bright herself, but she does have contact with the kid. They both see him and keep him for an equal amount of time as far as I know.
Save his skin but make it clear to him that you've done him a massive favour and that if he continues his shit you'll turn him in. -snip-
most. I read the OP and it seems to me he has aleady been given loads of second chances. He'll go to jail and come out a new man that acually thinks about his actions.
That never happens. You obviously don't know anyone who has been to prison.
