You also have to consider that he's probably older than I think he is. I'm a pretty detached and distant asshole who doesn't keep track of the birthdates or ages of anyone other than my own mother and father. I remember him at least being a teenager at the time of the incident, so it's entirely plausible that he's at least a few years older than I think he is. I'm not really hung up on that, though. It's the past, it's been over with for years now, I'm over it. Not that it doesn't mean anything at all, because it certainly does, I'm just more concerned with the present.

If he really is a psychopath, and that is a genetic condition you're born with, then he could be incredibly dangerous. Talking to him won't help, you letting him go will only make him use you more. His opportunism and violence is intolerable. Turn him in, for you, for him, and for everyone around him.

Here recently he took too many bars and ended up tossing his baby's momma down some stairs, shattering her leg into so many pieces that it required a 23 hour surgery to put it all back together again. And then he beat up everyone else in the house. Quite literally [I]picked up and threw the bitch[/I], then fought everyone else willing to try some shit and then won. In fact I'm pretty sure that's what the police are still concerned with because even though he's been arrested for it already, he was only gone for 90 days, and they had to let him go because they can't hold someone for longer than that. They've probably found newer, more incriminating evidence since then and are now acting on it. Or who knows, maybe he's gone and done a few other things that I'm not aware of.

It's easy to piece 2 and 2, he will know it was you or your dad that turned him in. Chances are he will bring a shitstorm down on you and more importantly, your family. Best bet is to just try and try to cut connections with him. Let the world weed him out. Because trust me, the justice system and jails, they don't fix the problems. When I got released, it was back to the same old shit. It doesn't fix anything and just escalate the situation.

Pick A. My brother is as much as a dick head as yours. He's done so many drugs not even his friends know. He's milked us out of money. He's had police round our house multiple times having them search it. He's had a mental break down and said he would change, gone straight back to his ways and is now sponging off my grandmother, because she dare not see him on the street. I guarantee he won't change, he's lost his way in life and this is the best thing for him. If he hides he will just get in the shit even more. If he has any decency left he won't try and kill you. If he does, he deserves to rot in jail.
