So, I just came back from the cinema. This movie's pretty awesome. For me, it's as good as the first. The villain is kinda creepy.

Automatically badass because ACDC did the soundtrack for this movie.
End credits scene has [sp] agent coulson ( the shield agent from the first movie) driving up to a big crater in the desert with a bunch of shield dudes examining it, he calls someone (probably fury) and says "sir, we found it". The camera peels back to reveal Thors hammer in the crater. [/sp]
Also earlier in the movie Stark is fiddling with his new arc reactor and [sp] uses an unfinished captain america shield to prop it up [/sp]
Just saw it. And I saw Iron Man 1 two days ago (so I could see this at the premiere today).
Well, I can easily say the first owned the sequel big time. The first had more humor to it and was generally more interesting.
This sequel just toned all of the good stuff down and just focused on more special effects. The evil guy (not the russian) was also just annoying the way they tried to make him funny by taking the "I think I'm such a tough and cool guy even though I'm not" role. Which he really didn't do very well.
But overall it was a good movie though a bit more clichè and boring than the first. Looking forward to the third movie with Thor and all.

If they make a third Iron Man, i doubt it'll have Thor play a real part in it. The whole superhero crossover thing is probably just gonna be reserved for The Avengers movie(s) and restricted to just cameos in the other separate movies.

I'm gonna see it in just over an hour, can't wait.
Went to see it today, was good fun. If you go in expecting it to surpass the original, you'll be disappointed: just take it for what it is, and you'll have a good time.

While I'm not completely interested in Iron Man 2 (except seeing Whiplash and Warmachine in action), what I really can't wait for is the Avengers. Since the Hulk movie and this, then the Thor movie and the Captain America movie, then it will be the Avengers movie, where all these awesome people together in one big super orgy. Like X-men, but hopefully not as dissapointing as the X-men movies. But I love the X men origins movies.

fffffuuuuuuuuu the cinema turned off the credits before the end scene, bastards.. The film was quite good, but i hated the fact that [sp]The final fight scene was about a minute long, i was excited to see Whiplash demolishing them, then he just dies after a minute?[/sp]

Good lord, that film was so much better than i expected. I almost died laughing at the scene where he visits Pepper and that desk ornament is spinning.
