Just saw it. It was fucking awesome, storyline however=not so good.
Just saw it, ending sucked.
Saw it in Imax 2d- epic, far far better than the first one. Scarlett in Imax? Highly recommended. Even Paltrow, who I consider a generic skinny actress, looked hot enough to stand next to Scarlett and not look like crap in comparison.
The car race scene is an unbelievably well done comic book action sequence.
BTW, the Toy Story trailer made my jaw drop...best computer animation I've ever seen.
It was cool, but here is my huge problem with the Iron Man movies:
The guy he fights is ALWAYS just another guy in an Iron Man type suit. In the first movie it was the old guy in a big gray metal suit. In the second movie first he fought Don Cheadle in a big gray metal suit, then he fought the Russian guy in a big gray metal suit.
It's like, look at the villains in Spiderman and Batman. Surely they can come up with something more interesting than "it's another Iron Man except he's gray, and bigger. Oh and he has electric whips"
Gonna see it in 30 minutes. How overhyped is it? As far as I can tell Mickey Rourke is a good choice for a villain, but Whiplash is terrible as a character?
It's pretty good, better than the first one but not as good as The Dark Knight
Just saw it tonight, absolutely fucking amazing movie. I loved every second of it. I've been an Iron Man fan since I was like, 4. I was NOT disappointed. :)

I don't think it was better than the first. They improved on the action (but still can't quite grasp how it should be done), but overall wasn't as good. And it suffered from a few bad performances too cough scarlett johansson don cheadle both totally emotionless cough cough
The only thing I hated about this movie was the cheesy court scene.

Later, the movie shows drones he's working on- building up for a DRONE attack.
So I figured the drone attack/software hijack was his main move, his Plan A.
Coming back with a new version of his suit was Plan B, which is why it was the last attack and the least effective. Especially since he had to fight two Iron Men at the same time when he couldn't even beat one the first time and that's when half that battle Iron Man didn't even have his suit!

I think perhaps my expectations for super hero movies are a billion times higher than they should be after The Dark Knight. I felt that the story was very "by-the-numbers" and that there was pretty much no character development or anything, besides Stark's inevitable [sp]OH MY FATHER REALLY DID LOVE ME[/sp] moment.
That being said, the action was very well choreographed (notwithstanding the scene in the main Hammer headquarters -- who the hell poses after every kill?!) and the explosions were pretty. A solid seven out of ten in my book. Worth seeing.

Cheadle didn't get as many funny scenes in this one as Howard got in the other one, I think. As for johansson, she's a decent actress, not amazing, but alright. Have you seen megan fox try to act? It's painful.

Yes. Compared to heavyweight actresses she's meh, but compared to most other 'hotties' she's basically god's gift to acting. I guess it doesn't help that megan fox has some of the most boring, insipid film roles I've ever seen though, and that, say, jessica alba has appeared in a never ending stream of crap for absolutely [i]years[/i].
