well I was looking for a good deck on the YGO wiki that didn't rely too much on synchros picked the Earthbound immortals terribad choice, will never do again/10
The hell? When I was in, like, 5th/6th grade this was so cool. Now we have synchros and all kinds of other colored cards I wish I didn't see. Heh. Heh.
i want a yugioh game with 3d battles
Synchro's are a really bad edition to the game, IMO. I haven't seen much use of XYZ monsters yet, but we'll have to wait and see. My guess is they will be almost as bad, but no-where near as overpowered.
Synchros are the only thing that makes YGO unique also, makes the game much more fast paced compared to all other card games and most MTG formats.
I'll just build my deck off an online list. NO ONE WILL NEVER KNOW!
Synchros are the only thing that makes YGO unique also, makes the game much more fast paced compared to all other card games and most MTG formats.
Uh, no. Yugioh was original way before synchros. In fact many card hames have copied off of it. It's the second most popular Card Game in the world, right behind Magic the Gathering which is completely different.

Magic the Gathering did pretty much everything else previously. And to correct you, YGO is the world's greatest selling card game its popularity I do not have statistics for but I assume it is dwarfed by the likes of L5R or even the WoW card game.

For popularity around here MtG beats it out of the water.
It holds the Guinness Record for most products sold, it's sold like 3.2 billion cards or something.
It holds the Guinness Record for most products sold, it's sold like 3.2 billion cards or something.
Actually it's 30 billion cards. But yeah, while Yu-Gi-Oh! is primarily sold in Asian countries, Magic the Gathering is sold only in western countries. Guess who has more population? [editline]21st July 2011[/editline] Another thing to note is that small packs of YGO cards come with about 12/20+ cards in them.
For those of you who keep up with the Yugioh scene, what do you guys think of the decks that topped at the world championship qualifer this year, Tengu/Plant variants seem like they're going to be the best in this format. I found it neat that Tech genus/tengu won.
almost beat a lightsworn guy with my junk deck was so damn close too ;_;

Yeah true lots of tengu variants are gonna get hurt by the next banlist, samurais are expected to be hit gravely also. But I dont think any of the plant dopple variants will get hurt though or agents.
Agents are fine, although things might get a bit crazy when the Darklords are reprinted in Legendary Collection 2. Samurais have already been hit hard enough with Gateway going to 1, they need nothing else. The highest they've ever gotten since that list was 3rd or 4th, if they aren't winning why hit them?
wow the power of chaos YGO PC games are truly horrible "let's give the opponent a bunch of powerful cards and give the player a bunch of shite, surely that will be fun to play"
I had helluva lotta cards. I've once owned pretty much everything from exodia to obelisk at least once. Then GX came out, then I was like "Fuck this shit!" then proceeded to flip my card-playing table. Soon after, I threw my cards out the window.
Does anyone else pay no attention to ban lists, or am I the only one who doesn't play in any official tournements (I play with friends)?
Anyone remember jacking off to this hot bitch? o ye
Clovis what are you doing in this thread you don't even play Yu-Gi-Oh, do you? In other news, that site you guys found (duelingnetwork) has a pretty bad system, i'd rather play XBLA's game where the effects of the cards are actually followed by the system instead of letting the duelists do it themselves. In my first duelingnetwork match, i actually put up a level 10 monster in the first turn, asking myself what the fuck was going on :v:
Plant monsters, while extremely powerful, are also extremely under used. I still prefer my Dragons and Zombies. Or dragon-zombies: [editline]22nd July 2011[/editline]
wow the power of chaos YGO PC games are truly horrible "let's give the opponent a bunch of powerful cards and give the player a bunch of shite, surely that will be fun to play"
Master race. Not only that but to do what you're asking would create mountains of bugs and work for the creator of the site. I mean, it's only one guy.
Godang REZD annoying piece of monarch... [editline]23rd July 2011[/editline] That thing is the bane of my existence sometimes I swear
I haven't really played a real duel since high school (4 years), but I still like to collect the cards every now and then. I remember I made a dragon deck back when the game was still fresh and I wrecked shit with it. Now I just get people whining like babies every time I even mention the phrase "dragon deck". "Hurr everyone makes dragon decks now and they all suck, use a real strategy"
I thought Zexal was shit until episode 15 finally, a direct connection to the original YGO
I thought Zexal was shit until episode 15 finally, a direct connection to the original YGO
Do you mean from all the series after the original? GX has been closely tied to the original as far as I can tell so far, I haven't watched much of it, only the first few episodes and the duel [sp]between Jaiden and Yugi[/sp]
Never watched GX, never will. It's only logical that GX is closely tied to the original because it only takes place a short while after the original story. I was more referring to 5D's and Zexal
who won between that duel Sublata?
It was undecided
