Which one? I'm trying to assemble a collection of all of the arts.

I got one too, secret rare/limited! :D
It was undecided
Really? I thought it was [sp]Yugi[/sp] but they cut to Jaiden in the desert after [sp]he summons Slifer.[/sp]

That was the point after he [sp]summoned Slifer[/sp] you catch a glimpse of the cards in Jaden's hand and you can see he has a plan to come back and win. The duel cuts out before you see him do anything though

I haven't played in years. What is a Synchro card, what does it do, and why is it so annoying?

Bought it for 9$, whereas yours would've cost me 14$. At the time I thought it would be too much for a card that isn't even that good compared to others in my Spellcaster deck.
I haven't played in years. What is a Synchro card, what does it do, and why is it so annoying?
Synchro cards are a lot like Fusion cards, you just take away the Polymerisation and add in a requirement that forces you to "tune" monsters together that have the same level as the Synchro monster that you're trying to summon, when combined together. They often have very powerful effects (Red Dragon Archfiend, Stardust Dragon, etc). Tuning is relatively easy compared to Fusing, because you can (mostly) use any monster to tune the Tuner monster with. It's also a Special Summon, which makes traps like Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute ineffective.
TT can be used on Synchros, but yeah he has a point.
If you hate synchros then xyz-s will make you go insane lmao
no tuners
Just going over the rules again.
If I Set a monster, can I do a Normal Summon in that turn? And how many times can I Set monsters per turn?

Setting a monster counts as a normal summon, so you can't summon any other monsters in that turn unless it's a Special Summon.

Woops my bad, you're right.
Zexal episode 16 is up
not subbed though, lame
Six samurai's are so overpowered. The creators are fucking idiotic for giving each card multiple effects with no down side.

They are pretty ridiculous, and decks like that aren't really any fun to play against at all. It's no surprise that loads of people host rooms saying "NO SIX SAMS".
I agree.
Same thing for Lightsworns really
So, I decided to watch some of the first episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh, based off the manga, and what do I see?

Uhhh....
yeah the first series anime was truly SOMETHING
also I just watched the 10th Anniversary YGO Movie which was basically a Yusei, Yugi and Jaden threesome with each of them nerdgasming about their dueling skills
yeah the first series anime was truly SOMETHING
Yeah, really. Surprisingly enough, the plot of most of them had nothing to do with card games.
Here, I'll explain the plot:
One of the girls in Yugi and Joey's class is acting weird, and going somewhere after school, so Joey thinks she's a prostitute. Another girl goes with her after a day or so and he says the same thing again. The next day Tristan goes with them, so Yugi and Joey go to check out what's going on, and it turns out they got embarrassing part-time jobs at a burger place. And all while this is happening, a criminal breaks out a maximum security prison, and tries to rob several jewelry stores. Eventually, a police officer suspects that he's in the burger place, and when he reveals himself he exposes another criminal who's been undercover as the manager of the restaurant. Then he holds Tea at gunpoint, Yugi challenges him to a shadow game, and lights the Vodka he's drinking on fire.
The first series anime Yugi seriously reminds me of Gohan from DBZ when he was small.
Sorry about the rather horrid picture quality.

This isn't everything but these are some that stand out the most to me.

Uhm nope, the downside is that their effects can only work when you have another six samurai on the field. They have swarm potential depending on the deck used, but cards like Dark Hole, Torrential Tribute, Lightning Vortex, Mirror Force, Jowgen The Spiritualist etc etc basically mass removal cards are a HUGE weakness to six samurai decks. And even then, casual cards such as Skill Drain and Area Limit - Level B give any Six Samurai user a hard time
It sounds like you should try changing your deck

Then again you can counter all those cards with other spells/traps, someone with experience could easily make a near-undefeatable six samurai deck.
[editline]29th July 2011[/editline]
i.e. magic jammer/mystical space typhoon
Someone suggest me a deck that doesn't rely too much on Synchros and isn't commonly used
My current Junk deck pretty much allows me to Synchro summon at least once per turn (sometimes up to 3!)
but if a card is played that doesn't allow special summoning then I'm as good as fucked.

Take a look at Crystal Beasts or Cyber Dragon based decks, they're pretty cool.

And someone could counter THOSE few cards with trap stun/mystical space typhoon, and the examples I mentioned would still be out able to make duels for a Six Samurai user difficult
It's also worth noting Six Samurai decks are almost entirely offensive and not all that trap heavy at all. The spells are cards that help you draw the samurai's you need (ROTA, Gateway, SSU, Lightning Vortex etc)
The point is, a really good Six Samurai deck can't be stocked full of counter cards or they would slow it down, hence it's weakness. I mean sure, they'll have the occasional Dark Bribe or Solemn Judgement if they're really lucky, but they're not all that common
Oh, for what it's worth, I run a Six Samurai deck IRL, and "remove from play" decks are a pain in the ass. Macro Cosmos ruins Grandmaster of the Six Samurai and Enishi's cool effects. There's another strategy for you right there
Banish decks are a bitch no matter how you roll it.
My friend has a banish deck IRL and I hate it almost as much as his equip deck and his bounce deck.
Fuck your "return 1 card on the field to the owner's hand" effects. :colbert:
