I just dueled myself with two decks. I lost :saddowns:
But you won, too! :buddy:
As soon as the original series stopped I stopped watching all together. GX came and I couldn't get into it. Even by the end of the original I was getting quite bored with extra rules and twists they would put into the game. and now 5Ds... cardgames on motorcycles... that sounds SO stupid. and now this Aztec thing? That one doesn't sound so bad but I doubt I would ever watch the series again.

I watched the first couple story arcs of GX, then got bored of it altogether. Never watched an episode of 5D's or Zexal though. Battle City was the best story arc IMO.
I really liked Battle City. It was my favorite part in the series. I even bought a Dual Disk which I duled with my friends with... oh man we must have looked like idiots standing on opposite ends of the cul-de-sac screaming our cards out with those things on our arms.
But you won, too! :buddy:
You'd think so, but both of my decks (65 cards) decked out.
did you even check the article on Crow's deck? http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Crow#Deck clicky for 5D's spoilers
I already finished all the series except Zexal (zayl), so it's no surprise to me. All you need to do is to fill your deck with trap negating cards to prevent their untimely deaths. Then I wanted them more.
When I was younger I wanted one of those so bad, until I realized how ridiculous they were. Then I wanted them more.
One kid at our school had one of those, always used to bring it and scream "I'm seto kaiba!". He wondered why he spent his lunch breaks alone.
i remember playing this game by myself. :(
Is motorcycle even a word anymore.
Wow compared to the original YGO, 5D's is some intense shit so far. Never did I expect to see a single drip of blood in the YGO series yet this stuff has so many death scenes...
It's pretty dark, not in a grimdark edgy sort of way but the motivation for the Dark Signers is pretty decent.
I have a Duel Disk, It was one of the Battle City Ones, I was the coolest kid at school
The original had lots of blood if you read the manga. The abominable anime on the other hand...
Is motorcycle even a word anymore.
Whenever I or one of my friends say it we start reciting the first bit from that video posted above. It's a word that's lost its meaning at this point due to overuse.
The original had lots of blood if you read the manga. The abominable anime on the other hand...
Actually in Japan there was blood too. Not much, but still blood. That reminds me, DBZ when aired has little-to-no blood but almost all of the dialog was kept. When you bought the DVD they basically translated it word-for-word and didn't cut anything. That's why I love Funimation. If only they owned Yugioh, I would be so happy. [editline]12th July 2011[/editline] Cartoon Network had a contract with Funimation for a while and they created Toonami. I miss that, at least they are still doing it on Adult Swim so they don't need to censor anything.
Does anyone else find the term 'Removed From Play' kinda misleading? I mean most of the time it serves as a second graveyard that you can still return cards from using an effect.
Hey guys I have this card which I got from a random booster back not too long ago and it's useless to me but by how shiny and special it looked I felt it was rare. I looked into it to find that it was a 'Secret Rare'. It's useless to me and I know some cards can do for a bit so I was wondering if you masters of dueling could give me an insight to this card. A card with 10000 ATK? mother of god...
Good luck doing anything like that with Slifer considering he's banned I just made a Yusei-style Junk deck, loving it. [editline]13th July 2011[/editline] also lol at people who put "no synchro" in the duel note get with the times you retards
Syncro's removed the use of Polymerization from the game. Why do you bother to use fusion monsters when Syncro's are normally more powerful and much easier to summon.
Yeah.... No. there's plenty of powerful Fusion monsters eg. Blue-eyes ultimate dragon and Five-headed dragon
That require so many resources to summon, that are not worth the time and effort. Syncro's can easily be summoned with almost any combination of cards and normally have a secondary effect benefit.
Future Fusion, Overload Fusion, Dragon's Mirror
That's funny because I have a normalcy deck and I have defeated some synchros using Normal Fusion Monsters Synchros aren't almighty and beating them ain't rocket science EDIT: Just defeated another 2 synchro duelists with my Normalcy deck It doesn't ruin the fucking game, you just don't know how to play
Fuck monsters, Exodia is the way to go for me. [editline]13th July 2011[/editline]
Does anyone else find the term 'Removed From Play' kinda misleading? Muahahaha! I beat my friend in four duels today, out of four duels. Each with the same deck but with a different strategy, first with Exodia, then we had a close game where I wasn't drawing any of my "powerful" cards, then I had Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Thenin the Great Sphinx on the field with Pumpking the King of ghosts and Castle of Dark Illusions that I kicked his ass with, the next round went like the last but I didn't have Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon or Castle of Dark illusions, but I had Dark Magician and I sacrificed him with Thenin and Pumpking to summon Ra for 10800 ATK points when he had no monsters in defense position because of my trap card Skull Lair.. felt boss.
Made a deck out of Dinos, Lightsworns, and Zombies. I wrecked everyone's shit.
Skull Lair is a piece of fucking bullshit
