Hey guys. Used to love YGO back in the day :v: I might watch it again actually, considering when I watched I was like seven and it probably made no sense. Although, I do fancy this online YGO, except I don't like the idea you can just take whatever cards you want, isn't there a game where you can buy packs of cards or like get money from battles etc etc? I'd much rather do that than fight people with an OP deck..

Are these cards worth anything anymore?

Is there anyway to play a duel network version of YGO, except you need to buy your cards with ingame cash?

I somewhat agree, trying to find rare cards was half the fun of YGO. The people are the Dueling Network are the equivalent of Smogonfags in Pokémon. As in they take the metagame too seriously and play for skill rather than fun.

Back before the game got all supercharged and full of ridiculously powerful cards, you pretty much had to rely on strategy as opposed to a strong deck.

The ones that are really rare can fetch almost $1k while others are worthless. Trading is just something that makes sure only the most dedicated people get the best cards. So, I want to get back into this shit. I stopped playing around the end of Chimeratech OTK. I used to run a machine/Cyber Dragon deck, it was so so fun. Can anyone explain to me the rough metagame nowadays (I've read into Synchro monsters, don't know about these sort of decks, but I understand how the cards work). I've got money to blow, so any tins/starter decks/shit worth buying atm I can get (though I'd rather not spend the money on single cards). Well I don't even know how to play against them. Why're they so amazing? Is it speed, or is there like a King Synchro monster everyone uses? Also, edited in my other old deck. Is Cyber Dragon limited still? If anyone can link me to a typical synchro deck build/an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! with a Synchro duel in, I'll get an idea aha. Any any machine/Cyber Dragon deckbuilds would be nice :)

No Cyber Dragon's at three, and they just announced a new legendary collection of cards chock full of GX stuff, time to blow all my money again.
