You do not need to be better at Gamemaker to criticize a clearly sub-par game made in Gamemaker.
Same reason you do not need to be the worlds greatest chef to criticize food, or the worlds greatest architect to critique architecture.

There are a few touches like the compass that I found interesting as well. The whole thing about the guns not having hands and being low poly gives it a Goldeneye feel, too.

Holy crap I stopped watching after he said "thanks for watching" the first time but I watched the stuff after that and the AI is programmed to throw grenades and flashbangs
They work pretty well, too. Its nice to see gamemaker games like this, where it's clear the creator put a lot of work into it.

The racing game at the end reminded me a lot of Ridge Racer, especially if there had been copious amounts of fog on one of the levels.
