If you dislike him so much why bother defending him? I've watched some of his videos to see if these edits were biased and it was WORSE! These shorter edits aren't as bad as the full-length ones because I can watch it without getting irritated. If you don't like watching things that are so bad that they become funny then more power to you. Because unlike you I don't look down on people for having a different taste in entertainment.
And if I remember correctly he openly went out and apologized for his behavior when this shit started.
For 3 days or so, then he goes back to his usual ways.
what a boring form of entertainment
Well thats like your opinion man.
This guy is a moron.
The video itself is bashing, it's highlighting Phil being an idiot, if you're gonna try to argue your point, at least try to back it up. The entire point of "This is how you DON'T play" series is to highlight every single moment that Phil fucks up then talk about how dumb he is, you can't say otherwise.
Why do you even give a fuck if we wanna watch DSP fail?? How 'bout you go be obviously better than us somewhere else.
Possibly the most childish conversation on Fp for a while.
You're being judgmental, every person has their moments you're being completely unfair. You're giving someone a bad image for no exact reason, it's been MONTHS since this whole thing started, you can't exactly have proof that hes still the same or hes gotten better, and no I can't give you an example, want to know why? Cause I don't go around watching him, want to know why? Cause I dislike him and I am not going to watch someone I dislike simply for the satisfaction of seeing him fuck up. And if I remember correctly he openly went out and apologized for his behavior when this shit started.
everyone has their moments, and being judgemental is very wrong but DSP has an awful lot of these moments every month and never improves He's the bottom of the barrel and will never listen
i personally think the TIHYDP metal gear solid 2 and 3 videos as well as the black mesa crouch jump video are the only things you need to see from DSP to get everything you could ever want to know about what kind of person he is
i still watch the mgs3 video like once a month it never gets old
This is getting to the point that it's so bottom of the barrel that you've went through the barrel.

So I watched it all because why the fuck not, and I've gotta say that's probably the worst first time attempt at Minecraft I've ever seen. Minecraft may be a game that holds your hand literally not at all, but he far exceeds the acceptable line of confusion and in to straight up being an idiot territory. At least he started picking up steam after he pulled up a guide. This did give me some nostalgia though. Takes me back to the days when you didn't know Minecraft front to front, every block and recipe, when it was a complete mystery and you didn't know what did what, and what you could possibly build or find. Makes me wanna go watch the old Yogscast series.
To be honest, nobody gets far without the guide or a lot of time. For his standards, it's not a bad video. Just watch him play the GTA San Andreas flight school, that's actually really pathetic.
My gameplay would probably look about the same if I didn't play the tutorial.. so I don't see what's so funny about looking at the guide.
According to his Patreon page, he's probably going to play indie games like Hotline Miami or Binding of Isaac as well. Granted, Minecraft doesn't really hold your hand, but it was hilarious to see him being stuck on the lake.
The point of this video is to show how much of a hypocrite he is. Around about 2 years ago he attacked people that made Minecraft videos calling them money whores. He stated he would never stoop to their level.
Manchild or not, admitting you were wrong isn't hypocrisy tho'.
More like giving it a change when money is involved
More like giving it a change when money is involved
Hardly. He obviously did this in an attempt to get people to shut up about it but just like everything else when he does it it only makes things worse. Him using a guide isn't really the issue, everyone does when they play the game, it's that he has a facecam and spends over half the time with his head craned at a 90 degree angle looking at the guide every 30 seconds. So basically the facecam was rendered pointless and that's not even getting into the fact of having a facecam on a damn Minecraft video in the first place. Did you know that when he had a winter contest he was giving away prizes and shit? Well guess what you had the pleasure of winning most of the time? Empty fucking game boxes. Yeah, this chunk nugget had to audacity to put empty games boxes for games he already traded to Gamestop up as "prizes". Wow wee! Thanks Phil! I'll stick this EMPTY game box right here next my shelf of keyboards without the keys!
According to his Patreon page
The fact that people are so willing to support this douchenozzle saddens me.
The fact that people are so willing to support this douchenozzle saddens me.
People do it to get a laugh out of how inept he is. I'd say at least half his fans are there just to see him make an ass of himself.
Just watch him play the GTA San Andreas flight school, that's actually really pathetic.
Or better yet, watch him play Jak 2.
If you guys don't want to watch an hour long video of this guy, don't. Some people want to. Is there a video where he actually does something correctly? I expect him to fail even at entering a door.
I'd personally also recommend the Demon Souls and/or Dark Souls videos too. They also highlight what kind of person he is.
My favorite part of that one is when he starts crying because people are telling him hes a scrub for over-grinding.
This wasn't cringe-worthy at all once he found a crafting guide and started getting into it.
Holy shit, he's getting $1,368.02 per month through patreon.
Holy shit, he's getting $1,368.02 per month through patreon.
$725 of that total is made up of one-off payments if the descriptions are to be believed.
$725 of that total is made up of one-off payments if the descriptions are to be believed.
Nope, in typical DSP fashion the PERK is one-off. For instance that poor fucker who's giving him $75 will get to be in a SINGLE episode of something and then after that he gets whatever the lower pledge levels offer. They pay their pledge level monthly until they stop pledging.
Or better yet, watch him play Jak 2.
This is the worst example. Watching the actual playthrough, he's got all the controls and tricks covered, hasn't gotten stuck and hasn't yet cursed at the game almost at all.
To be honest, nobody gets far without the guide or a lot of time. For his standards, it's not a bad video. Nobody is expecting him to build something complex out of redstone, but it should have been pretty easy for him to figure out the basics within 30 minutes. Shit, the guys over at Achievement Hunter didn't know crap about Minecraft, but in 1 video they learned a fuckton more than DSP did.
