I am making an album with this. (bandcamp) I am not doing it with well-known popular music, but with circus music and other stuff most people don't know about. We'll see how it turns out.
Yes you were.
Different =/= new
Have some slowed down speedcore. Not particularly interesting until 8 minutes in.
lol aphex twin
lol opinions
Why not call it slowstep
slow down the sound of me taking a momentous shit and the result will be the same
Yes you were.
he said it was a different genre of music altogether, where does this imply anything new or not existing already
what the hell are you guys doing arguing about genre?
Putting anything with drums into paulstretch is a no no.
Dubstep isn't exactly made to be ambient. If you want ambient, listen to prog house or some D&B, pulls it off a lot better.
I don't really think the average person on Facepunch needs a full tutorial. Tons of people know how to do sound stretching/compressing. I hate it when people on youtube think they're clever when they post slowed down/sped up/reversed/high-pitched songs. I do like listening to soundstretched stuff though. I just don't like it when people do it and go "OMG HOW YOU DO THAT".
Is that sweeping sound part of the song or is it the program that does that?
time to slow down ok go, maybe then i'll understand half they're saying
lol aphex twin
lol yes, aphex twin.
The album i was talking about is done. http://oozetoday.bandcamp.com/album/eselrfstof-afwreree-tsih I am actually rather impressed that some of the slowed down tracks sound quite pleasant.
If you want ambient style dubstep, listen to some Burial :) [editline]4th October 2011[/editline] Or Kode 9 or Mount Kimbie Or James Blake ect, ect [editline]4th October 2011[/editline]
Is that sweeping sound part of the song or is it the program that does that?
It's the percussion I think
