Don't stress out too much over it, when you're in college or higher level high school classes, they generally don't give a shit. Teachers are unfair, it happens all the time. If you do well on tests and homework, don't worry about the 4 points of credit from not being organized.

I never write anything down, I don't need to. I hate when lecturers make sarcastic remarks about how I'm "well prepared"
If you can pass the class without decent organization then what can anyone really say?
As if to prove my point, we got unit tests back today and I got 86%.
