Greg Baldwin actually received a lot of guidance from Mako on top of just being able to emulate his voice. I fathom he'd do it in a heartbeat because there is really no one else capable.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all if it is Greg, he does a pretty good imitation but you can tell Greg and Mako's voices apart quite easily, Mako was a bit deeper and had a stronger accent in a lot of his voice work but god damn does Greg give it a good imitation.

These are from 2006 and I'm pretty sure Greg has improved since then, so I have no doubt in saying he could likely be the voice of Aku.
I didn't really watch much of the original series when I was younger, but whenever I did happen upon it while watching TV it always captivated with it's look. There's not many shows that look like Samurai Jack and I love that Genndy is keeping that look and feel. I hope they give us a more definitive release date soon rather than just "sometime in 2016"
How did the original season end? Was it on the time thing or did it just stop after a random episode?

For years i have been arguing that Samurai Jack is the only show i can think of that deserves to be bloodier. It's surprising to me to think that i'm really glad something is going to become edgier and gorier for once.

What if that's where the series starts off?
I mean, what if it all failed? It looks like Jack is on his last legs there and he's holding onto the only thing he has left before losing it, then having to go out and find it, all by himself. No friends he could count on or anything, so he has to adapt further and change to get his sword back and give one last push against Aku.
wait, i just noticed. Samuri jack has a really big gun in that concept art, does this mean he finally upgraded from his bow?
