I always play Terrorist on CS:S (Elite Crew FTW) so it's actually the best and worst for T and CT respectively.
On the other games I always go CT, in GO I love going to the side door and blowing it up with a grenade.

Funny. A lot of people complained about those vents when they are the easiest things to clean up. Just don't be a dumb ass and you'll be fine. I always rushed outside and solo'd half a team before I went to check the vents (can be used by both teams after all).
When it comes to complaining about camping or using an area of a map all I have to say is, it's part of the game. Don't bitch. The likely reason why you hate it so much is because it always get you killed. Think smart, be tactical, and things like that won't kill you.

Just find another server. Admins of that one probably restricted camping because they want faster rounds and more action than tactics.
If you want to play tactically, join a clan, play mixes (5v5) or something. CS:GO has match-making which is exactly that - pure tactical teamplay. I have to say, that gamemode is the most fun I have ever had in CS.

I agree. Camping IS a legititmate tactic. While people frown on it in not just CS but other FPS'es, it's a common method of defence or guarding something. Then again, what else are you supposed to do when the bomb is ticking away when you're terrorist? You make sure that a CT doesn't defuse it and you get the fuck out of there when it's about to explode (so you don't lose your weapons, or your money if you planted it).
The video wasn't about pissing the admins off, it was about people being on such a high-horse because of one player camping one specific spot. Had there not been someone camping the vents at any position in that part of the map, whether it would be the exit by the boxes or the upper spot itself, you'd get CT's crawling in like an insect infestation. What else are you supposed to do?

What's wrong with throwing grenades at a breakable object? I do it all the time in assault and de_nuke as a CT, it means I don't have to waste ammo slowly breaking down the door. Terrorists also like to use it to their advantage, so if you're lucky you'll do some useful damage to any unsuspecting T waiting to shoot you when you either break it or open it.

You're overthinking this. The people who own the server wanted to run a casual game without camping so the people sitting out don't have to wait that long. They know that camping is a valid tactic, but that's not what they wanted. They've collected together their server for a simple "just go and shoot some guys and hurry the hell up" mindset and that's why they have a no camping rule.
It doesn't matter if its a valid tactic, go camp in a competitive match. They have every right to play the game they want and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
