My issue with the humor of this game is less that I think its bad dark humor, and more that I think it's like cartoony slap stick humor. And there is nothing wrong with that if you like it, it just doesn't make me laugh. Like people who don't think Sausage Party is funny, they are allowed to; Just don't call people man children for liking what you don't like and vise versa.

Fallout portrayed a view of American society if it never dialed back the cold war era propaganda or veins of research. The world in which they currently inhabit is dark, destroyed, and highly radioactive. This isn't "dark humor" because there is little dark about it. It is just zany. You NEED the subdued atmosphere for the 1950's era american dream stuff to be entertaining. Contrast is necessary.
