at least rooney doesn't look like a 40 year old meth addict
I don't think I've ever seen anyone more wrong in my life.
Finished the first book a couple of weeks ago. Really looking forward to this one.
A taste of the score is on the site. http://dragontattoo.com/ Music is sounding good.

aaa just as i was heading out. Here's the full trailer: http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/thegirlwiththedragontattoo/
Long trailer. I have a feeling this will be even better than the Swedish movie, as it left out a lot of stuff and generally just rushed through (with some shoddy acting here and there).
That british accent sounds very weird in this. And this trailer shows too many things. But I love it anyway.
Weird as in they're British or weird as in they don't sound British? If the latter; that's because a big portion of the actors are Swedish.
oh god i am so pumped for this movie
I have read all the books, and seen the latter 2 Swedish films. I haven't seen Män Som Hatar Kvinnor, the film. The book was epic as fuck, but I'm not sure this will do the trick.
Why are so many people calling this movie remake?! It's not a remake, its a whole new, independent interpretation of the Stieg Larsson's book. Nothing to do with the original swedish movie. It's like saying World War 2 is a remake of World War 1... As for the movie itself; I've read all three books and can't wait for this one.
Well, some of the people who worked on the original movie are producers on this one, and the Swedish studio is also mentioned in the credits. Some people also mentioned it looking almost exactly like the Swedish movies, just bigger budget with other actors (based on the 8 minute footage). But it will be good for sure.
I haven't read any of the books. I haven't seen the two Swedish films. I just plan to watch this one, and any sequels that are made.
I haven't read any of the books. I haven't seen the two Swedish films. I just plan to watch this one, and any sequels that are made.
I'd seriously reconsider reading the books. They're the most thrilling piece of literature I've ever read.
Sweet, I love David Fincher. And with Trent again? Fuck yes.
I just came back from Moneyball and saw the teaser trailer. I honestly forgot that Daniel Craig was in it and that David Fincher was directing (it never said so in the trailer, but I remembered that shortly after seeing it).
I'd seriously reconsider reading the books. They're the most thrilling piece of literature I've ever read.
I'm sure they're great, but right now I have no intentions of reading them.
The beginning of the book is a big borefest, and several times I just put it down and considered stopping reading. Bunch of boring political shit than I couldn't care less about, and pretty much completely irrelevant to the plot. The book starts picking up when Michael is hired by Vanger. I got through book one and two, currently on number three.
I watched the other version a few days ago. It was really good, and I can't wait to see how this version turns out. Just watched the trailer, and i'm convinced it will be as good, if not better.
I just watched the euro version and loved it. lisbeth is my kind of girl. i think noomi rapace is hotter than the one in this version... but DANIEL CRAIG... aka "pure sex" should balance it out.
you're dumb
Why? I found it extremely boring, and I know a lot of other readers did as well. I liked most of the book, just not the beginning because the author seems to have some political fetish.

I'm already on the third one, and yes, it was a pain to get through the first chapters, but it went easier from there.
