I don't get why the movie had almost all the text in swedish but all the dialogue and some of the text (like what Lisbeth tattoos on the rapist) was in English. I liked the movie despite that but it irritated the fuck out of me. I liked it better then the swedish version even if there were some baffling decisions in this one. the music video at the start was also extremely unnecessary, the movie sets its tone just fine without that
Loving these posters.
Her shoulders/chest/back makes it look like he has a huge badonkadonk the movies was pretty good except almost all accents were horrid and Mikael isn't pronounced Mikhail which really put me off

To stop and focus on something that was swedish would have brought attention to the language problem. I just saw the movie and thought it was pretty good. Unlike most movies I wasn't bored towards the end and ready to leave, despite the movie being three hours. I was surprised to what extent they showed the rape scene however.
At first I saw her face, =_=. Then I saw dat ass, 0_0. Then she got raped, *_*.
At first I saw her face, =_=. Then I saw dat ass, 0_0. Then she got raped, *_*.
It was making my head spin in the Swedish version because of the actors last name....Noomi Rapace
I saw this movie with both parents and my 16 year old twin sisters. And my grandma.
The movie was alright. My biggest problem was that I thought Lisbeth was a HUGE Mary Sue. The mystery plot is quite fun though, and I can't say it was a bad film at all.

Then she tried to kill a dude. Yup. Mary Sue alright!!!
I really liked this but the ending kind of sucked

The people who reference the Mary Sue trope the most seem to have the least understanding of what it actually means [editline]2nd January 2012[/editline] in order for her to be a mary sue she'd have to have no flaws (which she has plenty) or have flaws that are considered endearing (nope), and be pretty much untouchable (lmao did you even watch the movie I mean god damn) she'd also have to be a thinly veiled author self insert (not the case)
i saw this with my brother, sister, and mother we all enjoyed it a lot and expected a lot worse for the [sp]anal rape scenes[/sp], mostly because people were saying how horrendous it was
i saw this with my brother, sister, and mother we all enjoyed it a lot and expected a lot worse for the [sp]anal rape scenes[/sp], mostly because people were saying how horrendous it was
yeah you didnt even see penis
i saw this with my brother, sister, and mother we all enjoyed it a lot and expected a lot worse for the [sp]anal rape scenes[/sp], mostly because people were saying how horrendous it was
The only thing horrible was the awkward boner every guy got from seeing her sexy ass, but then remembering she was being raped.
Saw this movie with my girlfriend, who is a huge animal person. She was more horrified at the cat murder than the anal rape. :v:
the cat murder :(
the cat murder :(
as soon as I saw that cat I knew it would die
as soon as I saw that cat I knew it would die
Hahaha, same, knew it would die as a warning. Overall I thought it was a pretty good movie, with the best opening credits of the year. Ended up getting a little lost by the 3/4 mark, though.
That opening sequence. The movie already has Daniel Craig in it but then it had to go and be even more like a bond film.
I liked the opening sequence. Fincher is very good at directing music videos
the intro was cool but whats up with that electronic led zeppelin bullshit? anyway, great movie. this one was better than the original.
Loved the first half of this, unfortunately someone had a fit/heart attack halfway through and they stopped the film, ffs
Loved this movie! Might go see it again. Beautifully shot :) I also loved Rooney Mara's performance in the movie, especially the accent. I hope she gets that golden globe.
Just got back from seeing it. Fantastic. I didn't feel like I was there for nearly 3 hours, and near the end, I just couldn't tell when it actually was going to end. But that wasn't a bad thing, it was just more to love. Great movie. Great ass, too.
Probably during the rape scene I imagine?
actually yeah
