Oh snap, shit's going down. Tara's being a badass and there were TWO DEATHS in ONE EPISODE. FINAL DEATHS. Very climactic. Next week looks very interesting.
Also, I almost want to start reading the books, I can't handle the wait between episodes, even if just a week. Even still, that's cheating.
oh damn Steve, just missed that episode. MUST SEE IT
Great episode.
Vampire politics galore.
Oh GOD I love Vampire politics.
"And now, for the weather! Tiffany?"

saw that a few minutes ago and now he's my favorite character of trueblood
That was awesome.
WHY FRANKLIN WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY
Eh, I'm not too distraught over Franklin. [sp]I thought it was in her head at first, and then Stackhouse came up. Still didn't care.[/sp]
I don't think the AVL is going to be able to ignore him now that he de-spined a news anchor on national television.
Full-on war coming up?

Definitely. This is going to screw things over for vampires as a whole, the repercussions it'll have for the show are awesome.
(oh, and he's a complete nutter, carrying his gay lover's staked remains in a vase and all)
Oh man, Vampire politics >>>> Weird "god" with random orgies and magical boars.
Anyone else getting bored of the secondary Bon Temps storylines
They're okay but I'm like GET ON WITH THE VAMPIRE STUFF
Nah
It adds depth I think
Yeah, I like how the show has more than just Vampires, but they're barely ever featured it seems. It's like really awesome vampire politics and such, then Bon Temps stories for the rest of the episode. Though I don't mind nearly as much, as it's well written and primarily relevant. Though some of it just isn't going anywhere, it seems (Mostly Tommy being a bag of dicks).
But god I love this show.
Someone mind telling me why the AVL has such an arsenal? They're a non-government entity yet they could single-handedly bring down a small country. Wouldn't the real government be kind of concerned about these immortal super-soldiers with high-tech armour and weaponry?

I guess they have big bucks because it's pretty easy for vampires to be rich
Like Russell is so old he can just hang on to things long enough for them to become antiques
Quite a lot of stuff on this show doesn't make sense. I tend to try and ignore things that bug me and enjoy it at face value. As for your question I guess they could just not know about that stuff?
Seriously, considering they apparently hadn't found out about vampires until the invention of True Blood, it's not too far off for me to think they were well armed. Hell, the people that invented those weapons and the technology could well have been vampires themselves. I don't think that would be much to question.
However, now with Russell's little outburst, that may become a genuine concern with the government.

Agreed. Eric and Pam are the main characters, as far as I'm concerned.
eric is the best character
Well he's both a viking and a vampire. There's just absolutely no way for that to not be awesome.
