I see the name ANDY
Given it's the first page I'm gonna go ahead and say either Pegg or Frost is named ANDY in it. Well this is better than nothing.
I make out Andy, Steven, Peter and Oliver.
Peter & Oliver - Pegg and Frost
Andy - maybe the harry potter lookalike from SOTD
Steven - someone from HF or someone new altogether
if i had to guess
It says "there's Andy, Steven, Peter, Oliver and me. They call me The King. Because my name is Gary King."
i'm analizing it in photoshop. :v:
Edit:
I found a website that found out what it says:
the film seems to start with our lead character, named Gary, giving a voiceover. It starts in the summer of 1990 as a group of students – Andy, Steven, Peter and Oliver – are at their last day of school before summer break. Gary, who’s wearing a black trench coat, is called “The King” by his friends because, well, his name is Gary King. This opening scene appears to be a flashback; the shot is described as “rose-tinted and warm with nostalgia.”
That very well could be a The Big Lebowski reference. I hope, anyway.
I read a lot of stuff about hair.
OFFICIAL PLOT DESCRIPTION:
20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
production is starting this September for a spring 2013 release!
Oh excellent, always have to make your way to the pub.
what happened to the Winchester?

Case in point:

http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/edgar-wright-simon-pegg-say-the-worlds-end-is-social-sci-fi-and-about-revolution-20120530
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/news/a386140/simon-pegg-worlds-end-will-be-darker-than-shaun-of-the-dead-video.html
Simon Pegg
It's a “social sci-fi, look it up on Wikipedia and then bone up on John Christopher and John Wyndham."
(Christopher is a pseudonym for author Samuel Youd, who penned The Tripods. Wyndham, meanwhile, wrote The Day of the Triffids and The Midwich Cuckoos, which was turned into two The Village of the Damned films.)
"It's more mature, we've grown up since we wrote Shaun of the Dead," he said. "This tackles things that are going on with us now - it is a little blacker even than Shaun, I think."
Edgar Wright
“We’ve said in our most lofty moments that 'Shaun Of The Dead' was about evolution – it was about Shaun becoming something more than he was. 'Hot Fuzz' was about devolution – it was about [super-cop] Nick Angel dumbing himself down to become something else. And 'World’s End' is about revolution, which will be apparent when you see it.”
“I would say it's darker, more personal and more silly."
ok so Pegg says it's more mature than the others, Wright says it's more silly than the others.

Filming starts this September
For a hopefully great movie in a fantastic trilogy, this is not getting so much attention from FPers.
I'd probably agree more with Wright's "silly" opinion, seeing as he's the director, but I could be wrong.

Some guy in the creative work that doesn't deserve a thread thread did this with a drawing on a bit of paper, can't remember who though.

it's officially been greenlit. It's happening.
I sense that they're going to make a bunch of T-Shirts with The Famous Cock written on it.
They're all the pubs yeah?
Holy shit, I live near a pub called the beehive. I wonder if they'll be filming near here.
I hope the The World's End is just as good as the previous two which happened to get rated exactly the same 91%.
I heard the reason behind the Cornettos was that Shaun of the Dead just had them in, and Walls were at the premiere handing out free Cornettos so Edgar Wright decided to put them in Hot Fuzz as a hint to no such luck.
Words cannot describe how much I love the Blood and Icecream trilogy.

Or they're deliberately contradicting each other to fuck with fans.
Do you think after this Pegg, Frost and Wright will still make stuff together? I know this is the last in the trilogy but could they possibly stastastart a new trilogy?
They could. I mean, there's more than three Cornetto flavors.
[editline]2nd August 2012[/editline]
Sure, it defeats the purpose of a trilogy, but the Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy has five books in it.
And with about a month to go before filming starts, casting is in full swing. First to join the cast is "Die Another Day" bond girl Rosamund Pike http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=93491

Awesome, I wonder what her role is going to be. I'm guessing some type of love interest akin to Kate Ashfield's character in Shaun of the Dead.
Man i hope Bill Nighy has another role in this. Partly because he was in both the other two films, so it'd be cool if he was in all three, but also because he's just awesome.
Considering the penchant for reusing well received cast, I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
I hope Nick Frost gets the girl this time.
It seems like Simon is the lucky one in all their movies.
