No longer a vegetarian, lol
I'm absolutely broke and all I have to eat is a can of chickpeas, I have salt and pepper and some margarine. So I'm making falafel with it by boiling the chickpeas, mashing them into a paste and add some salt and pepper. Then I will make it into balls and put it in a pan greased up with margarine, and add a bit of water to it as I fry it a few minutes. It was either this or make it into hummus.
so what exactly do they put into non-meat meats? I'm not planning to suddenly become a vegetarian but i've always been curious

It's somewhat similar though.
