Well, I guess I'm a member of Genshiken now. I've got my name on their sign-in sheet and I've got an account on their site.
The anime we watched in the meeting was...interesting, although I didn't know exactly what was going on having not seen any previous episodes nor even knowing about the show before.
Basically just Magical schoolgirls fighting each other in their alter-egos. The twist is that the main character is a guy who gets magically turned into a girl when he has to fight or whatever, which leads to humorous awkward moments, such as a girl he rescues getting a crush on his girl form...
Not exactly something I personally would go for, but it was amusing. I think I'd prefer something beyond the whole schoolgirl deal. I haven't watched that much anime yet but from what I can tell stuff about magical schoolgirls fighting each other is kind of a cliche...
EDIT: Oh, and main character has blue hair.

But my school is full of... well I'm not quite sure what the hell it's full of. Mostly pipe work and kickass art. And catwalks.
