Most Otaku insist on watching anime ONLY in Japanese with subtitles because they pretty much can't stand to hear their shows in their own language or something.

I see what you're saying. However, for me, it depends on the voice acting. I'll go with English if it's really good. If the English is awful though, I'd quite rather just listen to what sounds like nonsense to me and read the text at the bottom of the screen. Not because I think it's "kawaii" or anything. I just don't like listening to very corny English voices.

I don't mind corny English voices. I just want to watch the show, not read it.
Besides, most of the English voice work for the animes I've watched so far are spot-on with the characters. I don't see what these freaks are complaining about.

No, you may get to know a few people in this club, but it won't help your social relations with the rest of the population at all. Usually nobody really cares if you like anime, but if you start joining clubs I hope for you that the lockers in your school are very small (or that you are really big).
Not saying that it's just or a good thing to be hated for joining a club, but it's like that nonetheless.

Try Hellsing Ultimate instead, it's a ton better than the TV series.
There are some real gems that can be found when you're looking at anime and as long as you don't start mixing in random Japanese words with your English, exclaiming that Japan is superior to everywhere else and don't start running around wearing a headband from Naruto then you won't get shit for watching it and no one will really care that you're into it.
