By that time he'd probably be used to them, plus the one that follows you through the antlion nests practically worships you, Freeman would love an utterly devout superpowered alien slave.
This. Don't forget that he was totally cool with enslaving them when he was stuck on Xen! He didn't even murder the ones that didn't attack him (mostly).
Watch as he modifies the story and it's just ends up being a time loop that goes back to Freeman's Mind very first episode. Since we don't really have a "true" ending to HL3 besides the text post. He could always narrate it but I feel like Ross has his own little self-interpretation of the storyline and I believe he'll end up making a nice send off to the series. Once he gets there, of course!
He said on his latest Live Chat that he would consider continuing Freeman's Mind if people made a unofficial HL2:EP3 that was competent enough, but whether or not such a thing could or would be made is pretty doubtful. IMO I think he'll either end it by reading off an altered version of the letter Marc Laidlaw posted with illustrations or he'll alter the ending of Episode 2 in some way that we wont see coming, with only vague hints towards it placed throughout the rest of FM2. Would be funny to see how Freeman reacts to him.

That's entirely optional, and Ross even avoided things such as the tau cannon and the Hornetgun back in Black Mesa.
The sound / map editing is my favorite part of this series. It really makes the game come alive.
I lose my shit every time he skips a puzzle/section by "climbing" over an obstacle
I lose my shit every time he skips a puzzle/section by "climbing" over an obstacle
Yeah, does he have examples of how he does that during production? The way he has Gordon "pull himself up" feels too natural to just be noclip.
He's noclipping, he's just really good at making it fit in with his motion.
I mean he has had 10 years to perfect his technique :v:
Entertainers tend to get sick of doing the same thing for so long. Even he on his website says "There are projects I would prefer to work on instead," and indicates that he'll drop it if interest dims.
He tends to mix it up every once in awhile. If he gets tired of FM for awhile he tends to switch to Game Dungeon for a bit or his movie and vice-versa. He's not a one trick pony for FM and nothing else.
What the fuck, you can shoot the Vort in the train?? I literally never knew that.
That threw me through a fucking loop when I saw it because of how well he staged it.
That through me through a fucking loop when I saw it because of how well he staged it.
It makes sense when you remember Ross Scott had an entire machinima series that was created with scripted sequences in HL2, so he would have the know-how to edit scenes like that easily.

This was the example he used.
Is Ross using Half-Life 2: Update btw?
i don't think so, because the Vortigaunt looks like pre-orangebox
i don't think so, because the Vortigaunt looks like pre-orangebox
Although the blood emitters appear to be from the update, so I'm guessing he's using a mod to have old vortigaunt look.
