Yes.
eww...no thanks
People dressing up as characters from works of fiction isn't new, why are you all moaning about it?
Because it's their nature to shit on everything... Get used to it, they won't stop until they get banned.

Or maybe it's in our nature to call bullshit when people are becoming suicidal over a movie about blue furry indians in space, to the point that they are dressing up as those blue furry indians and parading about town.
Oh shit, facepainting is illegal, because of Avatar, oh fuck oh fuck. Call the army!!!!!.
Thought for the day: Our government is like the movie Avatar. They spent way too much money, and nothing ever happens except a bunch of people screaming until they are blue in the face. -Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood.
I haven't even seen avatar yet.
You have, look at your picture that's placed under your username. :smug:
I saw the movie and I really enjoyed it, but these people just take it kinda far.

That doesn't work on me, durh.

There's always people who do.
It's a film, why don't people understand that, what if I just went and saw "American History X" and started curb stomping black people, or raping nazis in the shower?
Exactly. This isn't like Star Trek or anything with huge fan bases. Hell, in my New Digital Media 2 (school terms for Advanced Photoshop) we just did two projects where we turned ourselves into avatars.
And it sucked. One of my least favorite projects ever.
Second pic says "Derp"
I dont know what's soo big about the blue look...
Why can't girls dress up like hot escorts because hot escorts are famous?
Goddamnit :saddowns:
Its them looking dumb, leave them to it.
For the school swimming carnival, all of year 12 from a certain house which the main colour of which is blue, dressed up and painted themselves as Na'vis. Seriously, they had the braids and tails and shit. I was the only person who was disgusted.

Avatar's a good movie, but some people go over their heads...
(Twilight anyone?)
It's not much the fans fault as much as the creators creating the movie and creating all this hype by creating it. :lost:

The Na'vi didn't look furry to me.
The said people who are suicidal over a movie are just simply weak fucks who couldn't take a good movie...
And you can't whine, people have been dressing up as fictational characters for years, get the fuck over it.
And who's bright idea was it to bump a fortnight old dead thread anyhow?
Clubbers should have more taste than this. I go clubbing to get away from shitty fanboydom and cosplay.
Ruining a good movie like that.
Ill pretend this was sarcasm.
Avatar hasn't gone to far, but those people have. Tell your friends to stop taking retards with them.
Silly nerds.
I still don't understand the whole Avatar thing. I mean it was pretty much a terrible story wrapped in fancy eyecandy.
DARN THEM! Having fun like that! THEY SHOULD BE DEPRESSED AND FRIENDLESS LIKE THE REST OF US!

There are much more natural methods of having fun than painting yourself blue and worshipping a movie like religion.

Silly me, thinking everyone had their own opinions and likings
Avatards.
And yet James Cameron failed to win the best picture award for his featured film
