It really has aged that badly.
somebody has already posted a comparison screen but yeh his textures are like 256x256 it's pretty obvious he isn't running on high settings
It's on his soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/stuart-ross-brown
Brilliant cheers.
Regarding graphic quality on his gameplay clips, from Reddit:
- I record games on the platform I have them for. - I prefer hardware recording to software, as there are generally fewer headaches - Shadowplay is awesome, but doesn't always work (and worse still, can sometimes introduce audio sync issues) - I don't mind if games from 2008 look like they were running in 2008.

- I don't mind if games from 2008 look like they were running in 2008.
but he is running a game from 2008 on lowest settings....... so it looks like it's from 2001
It's the console version though.
is it a Micro-uzi that Neo uses in the famous lobby scene?

Uzi's are a treat to shoot; my dad has a semi auto version, but it's still fun. It's really accurate too, but that might be because of it's long barrel needed for it to be legal.
? Why does it need to have a longer barrel to be legal
-snip- Post below does a better job.
? Why does it need to have a longer barrel to be legal
In the US, rifles need to have a certain barrel length to be legal because of concealability concerns. If it's too short, it's considered an SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) and you need special permits and stuff for it.
