My friend has a £5 coin. They're not really that rare. The service is suspended btw.
-BIGPIC- Illustrations by Dokaman.
Well shit, it was a huge waste of time signing up then.
thank you queen u old slut
I think one of those coins is enough... I've got the Golden one. I'm so oldskool.
Most people say that until they find out that they're getting a day off school or work on that day. We will also get time off (a period of mourning) when she dies, probably a day off for her funeral and we would also get a day off for the subsequent coronation of King Charles. Hooray for the monarchy!
fucking sucks for me, i love my college and i love my job. i don't want to not do either.
You Brits are lucky, free coins and shit celebrating someone's birthday who only exists to "look good." Fun fact: She's got a slightly raised roof on her car to accommodate her hat. Must be nice to be royalty.
Don't you celebrate Christmas?
Considering most of the world does, that's a pretty baseless argument.
why can't people from the commonwealth get one
Considering most of the world does, that's a pretty baseless argument.
It's not as great as you think.
It's not as great as you think.
When did I ever say it was great? I said it was commonly observed around the world, unless by "great" you meant "widely accepted." Anyway, I'm not saying people in different countries shouldn't get these little "holidays", I'm simply saying the U.S. doesn't issue free coins for people in the country.
My coin arrived, and I dug around the boxes to find the original Golden Jubilee coin I got for free as a kid. :v:
Mine just arrived today, too. Not as impressive as I'd have hoped, turns out it's just a chance to get people hooked on collecting worthless coins.
you guys get all the cool stuff then again, america did get those tf2 soldier medals while you guys were sleeping i guess we'll call it equal
