Teddy Pendergrass - Teddy
One of the few soul artists truly underrated for the times. The unlucky thing is that he became great during a period where smooth soul was starting to die out and more of the upbeat funky styles started to come into play.
But people like me are going to listen to this album... In my opinion, he is up there with Marvin.
Very chill and I find myself playing his music more often.
Check out Radio City and 3rd/Sister Lovers. I like Radio City more than #1 Records. 3rd/Sister Lovers is more of an Alex Chilton solo project and sounds nothing like their other two albums. It's mostly acoustic and it's a lot more depressing and less catchy than the other stuff, but still a great album.
I'll look into them, cheers. Have you listened to their 2005 album?
No, I haven't.
I've been on a bit of a post-hardcore kick lately.

Yes, I know Muse and Earth are not post-hardcore.

Oh god, this is good and doesn't get much better in the classic Sabbath era.

Listen to Demon Days and Plastic Beach in a repeating playlist (entirety of DD then entirety of PB, repeat) while you sleep and you will sleep so fucking well and optionally have fucking awesome dreams. Promise.
Easy on the image resolutions.

I've been learning slide guitar lately so it complements my practicing quite well. That and I just like dirty blues.

I'm currently on more obscure stuff.

Protest the Hero - "Scurrilous"
If you like PtH, you'll like this. Lots of weedly. Rody mostly does clean vocals, which is fine by me.

Arcade Fire - "Neon Bible"
In my option, this is their best album. I still love the other two, but this is my favorite.

Yes - "Close to the Edge"
I don't really have to explain this. It's so fucking amazing.

Cemetery Rapist - "Your Daughter's Twat Filled With My Cock"
I'm not sure why I like this, but I've been listening to it. It's humorous.

Bayside - "Sirens and Condolences"
After listening to The Walking Wounded about 100 times, I decided to check out their first album. It doesn't disappoint, even though the lyrics are pretty emo

Antonin Dvorak's "Symphony No. 9" as performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Just beautiful.

on my 10th listen since it came out. Keeps getting better, for me at least.
I really love this album of Eisregen

It's a very good fusion of Dark Metal with piano, mixed with yells and clear speech.
