i think i went backwards, there are some days where i just can't be arsed to listen to anything except bjork or radiohead
Well basically I lived for like a year and a half and I spent 75% of my time listening to this one album
And it was incredible for so long before I stopped

pink floyd, of course

evile, fucking amazing modern thrash band. i would definitley recommend them to any thrash fan. their first album is a little bland and it seems like they copied a bit from other artists, but it takes a bit to find your own "groove"
It's been mentioned on Page 2 but Neon Bible is my favorite Arcade Fire album by far, it just slots so well as an album.
Yesterday was my Nick Drake day.
Today.. I feel like maxxing and relaxing to some Freak/Psychadelic/Progressive Folk

Toby "Radiation" Fox - Alternia
Both of these albums are amazing electronic/pseudo-video game music. "Doctor" off of Volume 4 and "Showdown" from Alternia are two of my favorite songs of all time. The whole catalog is brilliant, but these two albums stand out for me.

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
This is a great album. A lot of guests, great rapping, and amazing backing tracks. I love the sort of prog-hip hop sound he has going on.

DJ Shadow - Endtroducing
Also I love that album so so much.
Times of Grace - The Hymn of a Broken Man
Probably the album I have listened to the most ever, the vocals and lyrics on this album are truly great and actually have a meaning.
If you want to listen to a great metalcore album with acoustic tracks you should listen to this.

Periphery - Periphery
This album is just too awesome to not listen. The vocals are unique and awesome and the instrumentals I mean dayum those are great.

Holy shit I love you
prog-hiphop?
oh god
Maybe that was the wrong phrase for it. It's definitely different than a lot of stuff that I've heard. What would you consider progressive hip-hop?
progressive hip-hop?
no such thing
no such thing
Oh, alright. I assumed it was a thing, since there's prog-everything else. Won't make that mistake again
hip-hop by nature is progressive, it's like saying progressive techno.
hip-hop could be anything from the mainstream sound of Lil Wayne to the dark faded freeform madlib

So punk, ska, dubstep and some classic rock. Close-minded people miss out on too much, I love being diverse in taste.
that first album is not punk you stupid faggot and don't ever fucking say that any of those bands on that album are punk otherwise i will find you and fucking hurt you
i meant this in the nicest way possible
Stadium Arcadium is awesome. Love every song on it.
