If you put in at least two or three types of gasmasks I'll go through the trouble of redownloading NV AND this mod the very second it comes out and not come back up for air until i'm finished.
Also, one really nice idea would be several weapons based weapons like the http://metrovideogame.wikia.com/wiki/Bastard
http://metrovideogame.wikia.com/wiki/Ashot
And the:
http://metrovideogame.wikia.com/wiki/Bigun
As in the design behind the weapons themselves. The Bastard is made from very few moving parts, the Ashot is basically a flaregun that shoots shotgun shells, and the Bigun is made completely from the parts of a common bicycle; The Metro Dwellers made these in the twenty years just after the bombs fell with very little at their disposal, and they were no less effective.
My point being, one idea would be having weapons inspired by the above designs in the game as early game weapons, as at the start of the Vanilla game, you get various guns that stretch back pre-war.
But i'd like to think that many wastelanders would make weapons themselves that aren't just a blade on a stick.
My point being; shitty homemade guns for the early game, with pre-war stuff and professionally manufactured firearms from places like the NCR for mid-to-late game.

Ah yes I am guilty of this. Although I had no control of the Woodkid Song and the Premier Trailer. I try to pick a "safe" music choice rather than some exotic one that may turn off people. I will def ask beforehand for trailer music suggestions and hold polls to see what people want.
That's a good idea, but I'd be a little wary of that. The thing that really ties a trailer together is it's music. You can have some of the best shots of your game/mod/whatever in the world (and you do by the way, they are fucking great) but without a good transition, and especially fitting music that allows that transition to take place and seem more natural. Good examples of this but with two different styles are the teaser for Metro Last Light, and the trailer for Assassin's Creed: Revelations which I'm sure you're well aware of.

With this, those who made this trailer timed the beat of the music to the actual shots themselves, which is absolutely perfect for Metro: Last Light because the machine-gun sounding music fits in perfectly with the games themes of war, survivalism, and yet also a grim and empty post apocalyptic world. Timing the trailer to the beat is a great way of incorporating music, especially because not only does it make the music literally fit the trailer more, but because if it'd done right can actually add more to the trailer such as what I just said.

Meanwhile, we have one of the best video game trailers right here, one of the reasons of which is because it times its music in general to the trailer itself. Notice how it waits until the pan out shot of the Assassin's logo and to their fortress before starting the lyrics of the song, before going into how Ezio got there not just through the video but through the lyrics themself ("A million miles from home"). After the introduction, the music is timed perfectly to flare up right when the fighting sequence begins and continues on a much higher energetic path until Ezio is capture, at which the music drops down to a lower energy state which slowly build up as Ezio resists the guards and heads towards the execution platform. Finally, we have how the music suddenly stops as Ezio's hood is pulled down, which I shouldn't even need to tell you how symbolic it is. This trailer is brilliant because the music brilliantly peaks and troughs to what is going on in it, which works well with the way the trailer is laid out.
Don't get me wrong, you're trailers are decent, and your shotwork is phenomenal, but just slapping a random piece of music there doesn't really work all that well when making a trailer. If you do want to make a better trailer, I'd suggest trying to find a music piece first, and then editing together the shots based around that music, and don't be afraid to try and edit the music itself to get it to fit with what you want for your trailer.
When we first released a teaser on the Frontier, like the first announcement of its existence. We got a TON of backlash.
Here? I can't speak for anyone else but I was critical only to highlight the things within your power to change that would otherwise undermine its potential. Really loved the trailer, and that sequence with the halo-esque goings on looked cool af
Following on what TornadoAP said, what I'd suggest to choose as trailer song, would primarily be a 1950's or 60's song, since that clearly fits with the tone of Fallout; however in the case of Fallout: The Frontier, given that the mod seems to mostly abandon the 1950's / retrofuturistic vibe for a more modern or science-fiction style, something recent could fit better. Ideally? I'd probably suggest a remix or cover of a 1950's song. If you seriously consider this, I could look into finding you some candidates for your next trailer.

The clear Mad Max influence would make me want to look for a good, banging cover of a classic rock song.

We have 30+ new weapons added in the Frontier but there are a lot more not ported yet from our custom assets. We actually have the Tihar air rifle in the Frontier :P. Bastard type gun is something I wanted to do. We'll see, as we are going to need custom animations for that.
I do have a question... what did you think of the pipe weapons in Fallout 4? Is something like that what you were referring to as shitty weapons in early game?

I can see where you are coming from and I'll take into consideration. I think what you are saying is to make a trailer more based on the story of the Frontier. We had one in the works FOR a long time that was planned to be released on E3 over the summer. But I wasn't happy with the direction of the video and we ran into other unforeseen complications. Because a trailer wasn't really shown for a while we got the "is the mod dead?" comments 1000x over. So we made a quick action packed video to show off some of our latest work with our intense scripts.
But try to understand where I am at. I have people saying that the music wasn't the right choice and people telling me music was an amazing choice. I've had these type of contradicting comments for a long time. So usually what I do is play "safe" and go with my gut. I can't appease everyone but as long as majority is happy, I can't complain.
Again, I will ask people their opinion beforehand to see where people are at in terms of music.

Well, it was based more off skepticism. I mean I'll be honest we said we were going to bring a lot of new features to the Frontier and people brushed it off and said I was making claims that were not true. When I made those statements I already saw the scripting framework for it and knew it was possible. It took a year or so to show some of these scripts off because we showed them in a more appropriate setting, with added FX, new armor/weapons, new area, weather etc. So I understand where people were coming from. Thank you for the comment though!

Like I said I'd have to look into it more. But also be wary... already in the comments people straight up said they preferred that song over 1950s-1960s music. These kind of things happen on all every trailer video. The conclusion I came up with is, I can't appease everyone. I have to take a strategic risk when it comes to choosing a song. Again, I will def see what people prefer before starting to work on a new trailer. When the time comes I will contact you. But even if I use a 1950s-1960s song people will say they didn't like it. So for someone like me there is pretty much no win/win so my thought process from before was to play "safe".

Ok.
This looks fantastic, but it still makes me sad that we won't be able to fight for the Legion, or at least sabotage things in their favor.
