Well i think its stupid that they would try to not pay it. America is the most obese nation in the world and McDonalds is the biggest fast food chain. havent you seen there signs saying like 6 billion served? Thats serving EVERYONE in the world once! Obviously they are making a pretty hefty profit, I think thay can afford to give someone 1 million dollars once a year.....or really just $300,000 after the govt get their hands on it.
I won the 20 free prints from HP thing. Never thought I'd actually win something from this.
It's about 33% + any back taxes you owe. So for a 1 million, you get little over half.
You know what I find hilarious, if you read the fine print about getting the million dollars, it says the you get $50,000 each year for 20 years.
It's pretty much impossible to win.

A buddy of mine is getting seventy two thousand dollars a year every year for the rest of life, just because he suffered brain damage from an IED blast. Sure, he may not be able to remember where he left his keys, but what does that matter when you can just go buy a new car every few months?
haha I know a guy who lives up in Canada who gets like 45K a year because he got ran over by an ambulance when he was 17 and it sorta disabled him to where he can walk but cant run really or do strenuous movement using his legs. but he can walk all day just fine. He loves it! haha

That whole $ over X years is partly because they want to evade tax crap, and partly because losing a million dollars from the coffers in one year is much harder on them than losing 50k in one year.
