Hitman: Absolution Dressing up as a wrestler and wrestling against the target inside of a wrestling cage while in front of a large crowd who clearly don't give a fuck about the 6-foot tall ripped bald man WITH A FUCKING BAR CODE ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD snapping the target's neck and walking off. Hitman: Blood Money Dressing up as an executioner and executing the target in the middle of center stage of an opera theater while in front of a large crowd who clearly don't give a fuck about the 6-foot tall ripped bald man WITH A FUCKING BAR CODE ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD blowing the target's brains all over the stage and walking off. So different

So different
I get the "doesn't care about killing someone and walking off" but why would they care that much about bar code on the back of the head? And why did you emphasize on it?
That actually looks disturbingly similar to what happened to Splinter Cell - from ice-cold silent assassin to a rugged killer. Fuck that, I want this to be a stealth game and not Kane & Lynch 3
So those sexy assassin nuns are actually in the game. Hmm... I thought there was talk about removing them.
why would you not want sexy ninja nuns

You'd think that reports would say "oh he's got a fucking barcode on the back of his head, if you see this then report it" [editline]16th November 2012[/editline]
That actually looks disturbingly similar to what happened to Splinter Cell - from ice-cold silent assassin to a rugged killer. And why did you emphasize on it?
Ehh, got a little too into it. I WAS thinking it'd be possible for 47 to be tracked through it, (like recurring evidence in seemingly unconnected murders) but then again, why should the crowd care at that moment?

You'd think that reports would say "oh he's got a fucking barcode on the back of his head, if you see this then report it"
If that's the case why doesn't this super-assassin remove/mask his most distinguishing mark? Wouldn't he be recognized by everyone in a second?
I might be mistaken, but don't they actually notice if you try to walk up and shoot the guy, even if you take the executioner costume?
You need to wait for the exact part in the play where the main character (the target) gets killed by the executioner (you, if you go that route.) -aha, so apparently the video picked had 47 break out his silver ballers and goes crazy, It worked for me at least- EDIT: Great, now I feel like a jackass for not finding any proof.

A++ trailer, would watch again. Really appears to set the game apart from the others by adding some extra depth to the world and giving it a sort of... underground vibe I guess? Can't find the right word.
and I'm glad to see another Square-Enix/Eidos game live up to the hype. I hope it sells well.
you funny man http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfbnSIpFm9I&t=5m18s
you funny man http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfbnSIpFm9I&t=5m18s
Ok like we've been through this twice in every hitman-related thread, that isn't the only way to kill him. Christ, I was schooled in this in this very thread.
you funny man http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfbnSIpFm9I&t=5m18s
we've been through this
you funny man http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfbnSIpFm9I&t=5m18s
While I still think it was kind of a dumb bit of the game (Especially the QTEs, why would they put QTEs in a Hitman title?) I don't think it just ruins the entire thing.
I honestly think that part was initially a joke between the devs and it somehow worked its way into the game.
Think for a couple of second the difference in this and the melee system of blood money. (bare-handed)
I don't understand your point.
you funny man http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfbnSIpFm9I&t=5m18s
Read the thread you moron.
I don't understand your point.
In blood money, melee-fighting was limited to spam-clicking M1 until your opponent lied on the floor. How is this worse? It at least add some dynamosity and challenge.
For the amount that you use melee combat in a hitman game it's not even that big a part of the game to care. (But like G-Strogg said, even though it's a frowned upon feature, it's still an improvement)
In blood money, melee-fighting was limited to spam-clicking M1 until your opponent lied on the floor. How is this worse? It at least add some dynamosity and challenge.
I really don't think it's an improvement though. Hand-to-hand combat doesn't really need anything more than spamming M1 in a game like this. I don't think that QTEs make fist fighting more challenging so much as they make them more monotonous. Most of the time QTEs don't even really require quick reaction time, so all they really serve to do here is prolong what should be a quick, simple process.

The QTE system outside of that scripted event is button-pressing based on what take-out animation is playing and what action 47 is performing.
If that's the case why doesn't this super-assassin remove/mask his most distinguishing mark? Wouldn't he be recognized by everyone in a second?
Well I imagine he really doesn't care about having it seen, he seems trained to not care. In Absolution he does put bandaids over it though, so who knows [editline]16th November 2012[/editline] Also I agree with G-Strogg, I'm perfectly fine with the melee system. It looks really nice and is a hell of a lot cooler than "headbutt headbutt punch" and the bad guy just flys to the floor
How is press button, man falls down any worse than press button, then press a different button, man falls down?
Because one of them looks hilariously bad I'll take QTE's over blood money's cheesy headbutt + 2 punches animation any day.
