Wear boots, and then literally kick them
I instantly thought of "These Boots" by Megadeth. :3:
Also, he sounds like a douche, douche him back by pissing on the mic for when he snags it.

how can you kick me out of what is miiiine
it was a chick wasn't it
wasn't it
guy or girl, it's always tough to kick someone out. It's harder when it's a girl. That's why girls are never meant to be in bands.
Create a new band and don't invite him.
Throw a beer bottle at him and say GET OUT AND DONT COME BACK!
We had to kick one of our band members out, he's still a great friend to us.
Just explain to them that it's just as unpleasant for them as it is for you. Think about it, they wont have any fun playing songs they don't like, you won't have any fun arguing with them so it's better that you part ways.
Hopefully they'll understand.
Play your metal louder so you can't hear him bitch.
Explain to him that his opinion is no longer relevant, and he must accept your style or get the flaming boot of metal.
Play your metal louder so you can't hear him bitch.
Do this.
Or do a fusion.
Have him write an old school rock song, and then compromise the second half to be metal.
We'll call it hard rock.
Just tell him, "it's not you...it's me."
either that or, "I think we should see other...bands"
Tell him you're playing a gig in Tokyo and he needs to spend his life savings to get there.
If he ever returns just say "Oh Whoops"

"Did I say Tokyo? Oh, I'm sorry. I meant to say the local pub.
My bad."
:rolleye:
Just say "Suck my dick or your out of the band" it's pretty obvious he would leave
If he sucks your dick you have a problem
Get him drunk and buy him a bus ticket somewhere far away.
Destroy his instrument.
We're a group of friends who started a band about a month ago. The thing is that one of the bandmembers have been acting negative lately and doesn't want to play the music the rest of the band wants to play. We're thinking about kicking him, but we still want to be his friend. How should we approach this problem? Anybody got any experience about these kind of things?
have a gang bang and after you've all blown your loads tell him he'll understand
cum on the snare if you can
"Look, the band is like a boat. When there are too many people on the boat, the boat begins to sink. There's only 4 (how many members you have) Life Jackets. Your violating Health and Safety Procedures. What were trying to say is; your out of the band".
You can't go wrong.
I used to run a band. Vocalist sucked dick and was too fucking lazy to ever take any initiative. I said I was merging the band, and he instantly assumed he was the one out (because he knew he didn't do shit). I said if that's what he thinks, he indeed shouldn't be in it anymore. And that's that.

Alternately.
"Look, the band is like a boat. If you rock the boat, the boat tips over and everyone goes in the water. Rocking the boat is bad, you see, because then everyone suffers. Right now, you're rocking the boat. If you don't stop rocking the boat, then we're gonna all go in the water. I won't let that happen. So either you stop rocking the boat, or we kick you off the boat. You know why?
Cuz I'm on a boat, motherfucker."
You then proceed to play "I'm On A Boat" by The Lonely Island.

Without what I cut off, this is good.

I agree with this statement.
I hate that song so much. :v:
Thanks for tips and advices. He wants to play plain old-school rock and allmost nothing else. We want to go in a more hardrock/metall direction. But the problem is that he hates metall and stuff like that so he doesn't want to play any of it. Also he insists on doing the vocals and he sucks at singing, eventhough he allways snags the mic.
PS: when I'm talking about metall I'm not talking about heavy metall or any of that stuff, it's more like trash/prog metall
PPS: He's a guy.
Prog metal is a subgenre heavy metal. Thrash is more extreme than heavy and prog.
Similar question - how do I leave a band without being alienated from the other members? I've known these guys 10 years now, but the drummer sucks cock, and all they want to play is Blink 182.
Smash his head into an amp.

Just say we don't wanna play the same kinds of music anymore, so i'm gonna leave and find another band.
