I hope they won't use Ellie as they used Nicole in previous games. As a matter of fact I hope Isaac won't have too much hallucinations if any at all.
I should probably finish Dead Space 2 sometime.
I'm only like three chapters in or something.
Something tells me finishing DS2 should be a goal before playing DS3, seeing as I have no idea who all these people in the beginning of the trailer are and I have no idea what's going on.
Also, am I the only person who kinda dislikes the decision to give Isaac a voice? I kind of liked him being the bad-ass space engineer Gordon Freeman in the first one. :v:
I was skeptical at first, but they pulled it off very nicely in DS2, IMO.
Also, on the topic of Co-Op, and how people are fretting about it, from what I've heard, the Co-Op isn't intrusive. You only meet Carver a handful of times if you play it solo, otherwise you're on your own. He only hangs around if you're playing in Co-Op. Best way to handle the addition if you ask me.
I loved both Deadspaces. DS2 wasn't as scary as the first one in the sense that you weren't alone, you always had Ellie talking to you, keeping you company, but DS2 had the best enemies I've seen. The stalkers scared the shit out of me the first time I fought them...from then on I upgraded my pulse rifle all the way. Fucked bitches up.
I am def. going to buy DS3 regardless if it's scary or not.
DS3 will never be scary with co-op, imagine playing silent hill or something co-op with a friend, all the effort in making the game scary is just wasted
Well dead space is scary at all, I mean I can understand how some people could think it's that way but to me once you can curbstomp the shit out of everything they throw at you it becomes another action game. I do love Dead Space though.
Isaac is really just a person from the 21st century who lives in a mental ward imagining up necromorphs all day.
Calling it now.
It seems that they are going for a pure action shooter rather than Hide n Blow shit the fuck up. This is fine, because let's face it, with two people in on the action, you know the difficulty just got a heads up.
Yes, the other two were far more scary but why not combine scary with more run and tear them a new hole, cooperatively?

Isaac is really just a mannequin in a modern-day posh clothing shop used to model summer dresses all day.
Calling it now.
About him getting a roll, I'd be fine with it if it wasn't an actual roll per se. Like, if you can tap a button and Isaac rolls 4 feet and ends up on his feet, Cutter ready, it'd really shatter the feeling that you're just an Engineer who also happens to have stupid-strength and toughness. If he just throws himself and ends up on his belly or something, that'd be cool.
