Weird how a primitive group of (wo)men can cross a lake, get resources, build a shack, build a well and start fishing all in one turn
Chips is an aardvark
Which is a Dutch word. Hooray!
He's new to this, but yeah, that's speed building a bit, this is meant to be a really slow thread. :v:
I can tell that but im just saying
With your speed it will take ages to evolve.
What?
With your speed it will take ages to evolve.
That's the point. :) I've taken like 9 turns already and only have two fallen trees and a dead rodent. You have half a house, tools, a mill, in 3 turns. The point of Evolution is to go slowly. BTW, forgotten description under that last image of mine, basically Luun bashes Chips' head in with her staff, and the other Jawas now have two trees in the right pasture. One Jawa stares at the waterfall. Luun beckons over a Jawa and he goes towards her. [editline]02:44PM[/editline] Then again, my guys started off with no tools and only 5 guys. And I'm going pretty slow.
Mill?
Whatever that thing in the waterfall is, I can't really tell. And that's the only part of my post you acknowledged?
The last drop pods touch down as the soldiers withing those already open pull themselves out and stand at attention. The blue pilot runs for the nearest supply crate to see if it actually dropped anything useful. The commander stand stern, waiting for the rest of his men before giving any specific orders. He glances over to his men and calls out jokingly: "Rough Ride.
I have arrived to correct you all! This thread is not meant to be so slow you pass out in the middle of the day while at work/school/space/bed/couch/ chair/whatever/nowhere just from thinking of it.. BUT, it's not meant to go so fast you fall out of your seat, accelerate to lightspeed, go so fast you travel back in time, but, it should take some turns before you have nearly fully constructed houses. Over 'n out.
Is 3 turns good for house? Huose #1 33% done House #2 20% done
I'd say 4 turns for a small hut. (you can build several at once if you got enough men)
Well, you havent even got the resources for em
Well, you havent even got the resources for em
He's sitting in a forest, what are you on about!? :v:
I never said anything about needing to collect the proper resources, I don't have any trees on my maps, so I use dirt to "make" wood, like in the old Evo thread. Though, you don't Need to collect resources, aslong as you remove resources close to you. [editline]07:14PM[/editline] And yeah, what Elf said. :v:
doin' text craftin' for the next 3 turns. Luun and the other Jawa bring the dead womp rat back to the others. They strip the bark, leaves, fruit off the trees, and start to scavenge from the dead rat. CRAFTING: [1/3]
And tools are from boxes, wich were in boats.
Yeah but seriously how could you build a well, and two half houses, even with tools, in one turn. Most people don't even have a start of a base yet. Like Recon said, you don't have to go really really slow but you shouldn't go really fast. It's your first PW (I think?) so it's not really your fault, you can leave it how it is but just tone it down in the future.
Yep, this is my first.
Synth said something useful for once. :v: Shishkebab decides to swim to the other side of the lake, Mister T come and "screams" at him to get back and get to work, SK (Shishkebab) politely ignores him.
Lavender turns around to the male peasant, "So.. what, wait.. eh.. We're.. hmm.. I guess the only way is forward!" Jonathan, the male peasant, replies "Yes, yes, the way is forward. This ground looks like a suitable place for one of King Edward's castles. Maybe he would be grateful if we constructed a populace here? Perhaps he would even visit himself!" The wood worker, Tuck, turned back around, and scouted the area, he saw a forest in the distance; "Ah, a forest. Wood resource! Yes, this would make a suitable location." Mich, the master mason, too scouted his surroundings, noticing stone clumps in the ground. "I sense this is a stone filled location, I too agree on the location!" Jonathan, the seeming to be leader, then spoke aloud, "Well, my brethren, the time has come, let us construct and grow a populace in the King's name!"
They really are eager to grow a populace here aren't they? :v:
Synth said something useful for once. :v:
hey! One Jawa has removed the shoulder blades of the rat and begins sharpening them with a rock. Another continues to strip the trees. The third Jawa takes out the two biggest rib bones of the rat, and begins flattening/sharpening them with another rock. The last Jawa uses the rat's own sharpened fang to start processing its meat and piles that on a piece of bark. Shaman Luun directs them while she processes the skin of the rat. CRAFTING: [2/3]
They really are eager to grow a populace here aren't they? :v:
It's a brilliant location for a castle. A cliff, stone, forest, water supply, all the benefits.
I haven't described my guys? War-like (axes :v: ), Exo-skeleton suits (but not yet) and their technology focuses on warfare. Anyway Text Declare! The group arrives by the trees and starts to set up a small building... [1/3]
Oh me too! Constructive Workers: My units love working, especially for the King, they will do anything to get him to just walk on their land. They have tools prepared, and know what they're doing with little discussion. Their defences are strong and powerful, yet they aren't great at siege, or war abroad, until they have more or less fully advanced.
