What about them? For every scantily-clad male character you can think of there's 100 female ones. And are Snake and Sam Fisher depicted as sex objects? Does the camera linger on their butt racks in cutscenes, or pan suggestively up and down their bodies when they walk into the room?
Listing exceptions doesn't discredit the trend. And yes it's a trend--how many people praised Alyx Vance for being adequately clothed and seeming like a human being? How many people praised Niko Bellic for those things?

Well I agree wit hthat, but it's stuff like gears of war where the men seem to wear normal combat uniform, yet anya has now decided to go out in tight leather pants, which just seems a bit daft to me since you would want to wear something that was combat efficient not restrictive.
